Rajinikanth’s Jailer is surprising one and all with its superb consistency at the box office. The film is performing Extraordinarily on 3rd weekend. The Telugu states gross of the Jailer will be more than 80Cr and the worldwide Telugu version gross will be around 93Cr, which is a sensational feat.
With today’s collections, Jailer will get around 95Cr Gross and most likely it will end up around 100Cr. Until now, only two dubbed films have collected 100Cr gross in Telugu. One is 2 Point 0 and the other one is KGF 2. So we need to see whether Jailer will cross this magical mark or will just fall short of it.
With no other big film in sight, Rajinikanth’s Jailer is continuing its victory run in its third week as well. The film has already established several records in multiple territories beyond Tamil Nadu, and has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of the year in many areas. Due to its exceptional performance, Jailer has now become the 1st film ever to collect 50Cr gross in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telugu states. It is a new benchmark for Kollywood.
Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, stars Rajinikanth as retired police officer Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Apart from Rajinikanth, Jailer also features Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles. Veteran stars Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff also appear in the film, which has been produced by Sun Pictures. Jailer’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
