Superstar Rajinikanth surprised everyone by joining forces with Nelson Dilip Kumar, and the film began with the working title ‘Thalaivar 169’. Later, the film was titled ‘Jailer’ and Rajinikanth’s first look was revealed by the producers.
The highly anticipated film has completed 100 days of shooting recently, and the shooting of ‘Jailer’ has reached the final stage. Scenes involving Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff were reportedly being shot, while some other leading actors are also said to be part of the current shoot.
The film is expected to wrap the entire shooting part by the second week of April. After that, the team will move to the post-production and publicity works. The film is crucial for both Rajinikanth and Nelson as both their previous films were big failures at the box office.
The film has been made with a huge budget, and it is comprises a massive star cast with names like Mohanlal, Shivaraj Kumar, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Tamanna along with Rajinikanth in the major role.
Rajinikanth plays retired Jail warden Muthuvel Pandian in ‘Jailer’, and Nelson Dilip Kumar’s directorial is reported to be a suspense thriller packed with the director’s favorable formula of dark comedy. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for this film, and the composer is expected to hit hard with his third film with Superstar Rajinikanth.
