Rajinikanth’s Jailer creates a history on Television. It became the first ever Indian film to have a television premiere in all languages at the same time. The movie premiered on Sun TV in Tamil, Gemini TV in Telugu, Star Gold India Channel in Hindi, and Udaya TV in Kannada during the Diwali festival.
The movie had a pan-Indian TV premiere, which has never happened in television history till now, and the film is expected to deliver good TRP ratings in all languages. Thereby, Rajinikanth’s Jailer creates a history on Television. It is widely known that the film became an all-time blockbuster at the box office.
On November 12, 2023, at 6:30 PM, Gemini, Sun TV, and Udaya TV aired the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada versions. Also, Star Gold channel broadcasted the Hindi version on the same day, November 12. The Malayalam version’s premiere date still needs to be announced.
Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer featured a stellar cast that includes Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa Menon, Vinayakan, and Sunil. This Sun Pictures production had the music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
