But according to the latest reports, Jailer team is planning to release the film on Independence Day weekend and an official announcement regarding the same is expected this evening.
Now with no choice, Siva Karthikeyan’s Maaveeran film has pre poned the release to July. Siva Karthikeyan is a star hero that has good craze among the youth and mass audience, but no one will want to compete with Superstar Rajinikanth. Also, Siva Karthikeyan’s last film, Prince, was a big disaster at the box office, so he should be cautious about the planning of the next movie.
Rajinikanth plays retired Jail warden Muthuvel Pandian in ‘Jailer’, and Nelson Dilip Kumar’s directorial is reported to be a suspense thriller packed with the director’s favorable formula of dark comedy. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for this film, and the composer is expected to hit hard with his third film with Superstar Rajinikanth. The film comprises a massive star cast with names like Mohanlal, Shivaraj Kumar, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Tamanna along with Rajinikanth in the major role.
Mandela director Madonne Ashwin who had won the National Award for the film, has directed Maaveeran, starring Siva Karthikeyan and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles. In Maaveeran, Sivakarthikeyan reportedly essays the role of a cartoonist. The film’s music is composed by Bharath Shankar. The cinematographer is Vidhu Ayyanna while the editor is Philomin Raj.
