Rajinikanth, the Superstar of South Indian Cinema, shared a glimpse of his terrific and stylish new look for his upcoming film Thalaivar 170 (tentative title). The shoot began with a Pooja Ceremony in Trivandrum on Wednesday. Lyca Productions, the production company, shared pictures from the sets and revealed Rajinikanth’s refreshing look.
The photo showed Rajinikanth and the film team together during the Pooja Ceremony. He went with a casual shirt and pants. His new hairstyle was the icing on the cake of his look. The fans were thrilled to see him in a terrific and stylish look.
The production house unveiled a poster for Thalaivar 170 earlier today that featured Rajinikanth. Fans were able to see Rajinikanth in the new look, looking handsome in all-black. The poster shows him wearing a black suit, a black shirt, and black sunglasses.
Thalaivar 170, the working title of the film, is directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. The film marks the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth onscreen after 32 years. In addition to them, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil play key roles in the film. Rakshan’s inclusion in the ensemble cast is a treat for the fans.
The film portrays Rajinikanth in the character of a retired police officer. The film is said to center around the issue of fake encounters, despite the lack of information. After Jailer, composer Anirudh Ravichander and Rajinikanth are set again to collaborate with this film.
