Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan meet on set. In Chennai today, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were spotted on the sets of Indian 2 of Kamal Haasan. Superstar Rajinikanth was shooting his 170th film on an adjacent floor in the same studio. So, both the living legends met and had a small, good time.
Having been friends for a long time, both stars discussed their forthcoming ventures and revisited their journey together during the meet. The Tamil fans were delighted as Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan met on set. Recently, Rajini and Amitabh Bachchan had a similar moment of old friends meeting again as Big B is playing a crucial role in the film and joined the shooting recently.
Indian 2, Kamal’s movie that Shankar directed, is almost finished. Rajinikanth’s 170th venture, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a significant role, is directed by TJ Gnanavel, who directed Jai Bheem. Co incidentally, both the films are being produced by Lyca Productions.
The film also stars Rana Daggubati, Malayalam lady superstar Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh of ‘Guru’ fame, and Dushara Vijayan. Fahadh Faasil was introduced to the Telugu audience with ‘Pushpa’ and is gaining more recognition nationwide, playing the lead role. Lyca Productions are producing the film.
According to sources, Rajini will be seen as a retired cop in the movie. The part of the superstar is that of a person who fights against the encounter policy or system.
