Rajamouli’s Master Plan For RRR Shoot

RRR (Roudram, Ranam, Rudhiram) is a prestigious project undertaken by S.S.Rajamouli. It is a PAN India multi-starer featuring Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr.NTR as Komaram Bheem. Almost about 70% of this project is already done and the shoot was temporarily paused due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

After attending the meetings with higher officials to seek clarity over resuming of film shooting in TFI, S.S.Rajamouli has asked the producer to take all the precautions like arranging PPE kits and making sure that there is the minimum number of crew on sets as per their requirements. He also asked him to gather all the shooting equipment. Rajamouli is thinking of all the possible ways to resume the shoot. He is in a plan to do a mock shoot first at Gandipet or Aluminium Factory where the sets were laid. If the mock shooting goes well then he wants to proceed with the real one. According to our sources the scenes on Ram Charan will be shooted first as it can be done with limited cast. Rajamouli wants to finish the shooting quickly and put the project into post-production. The motion poster and Raju’s teaser got a decent response from the audience. It’s likely to see its theatrical release in the next year’s summer season although the team announced it as 8th January 2021. As of now, there is no clarity over the re-opening of theatres in India.

RRR also features Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt opposite Charan, Ajay Devgan, and Samuthirakani in key roles. As we mentioned earlier Shriya Shran will be pairing opposite Ajay Devgan in the flashback scenes. The script was penned by K.Vijayendra Prasad and bankrolled by D.V.V.Entertainments. While M.M Keeravani is composing music, K. Senthil Kumar is working as a cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad as an editor.
