Bahubali is the face of the Telugu cinema. Not only Telugu cinema, it turned out to be the face of the Indian Cinema. It brought Prabhas an unmatchable craze all over India. Rajamouli became a star director in Indian cinema over night. It is the vision and passion of the master S.S. Rajamouli that made Bahubali.
The success Bahubali achieved was phenomenal and unimaginable. People all over India liked and it shattered all the language barriers of cinema. Then comes Bahubali 2 with high expectations and the master mind Jakkanna mesmerised audience once again. So Bahubali and Bahubali 2 are exceptional in Indian cinema. Bahubali created its own mark and set the standards such that everything became non Bahubali. Non Bahubali records, non Bahubali openings etc. And if anyone can beat that, it should be again SSR.
Everyone thought that Bahubali’s records will be beaten when the master craftsman Rajamouli announced RRR with the two massive stars of Tollywood. With the craze of NTR and Ram Charan, RRR strikes a gold in the openings in Telugu states. But it is SSR duty to pull the audience in other states with the content. Though the film got positive talk all over India, there are some areas RRR has to do so much well in terms of business. Due to over pricing, the film is yet to get break even in some areas.
Baahubali and Baahubali2 are huge blockbusters in all languages/Territories with heavy returns for all the involved parties , Rajamouli has failed to repeat same magic with RRR. In TN , Kerala , Karnataka the film is not achieve the breakven just recovered around 60% of theatrical business. So even these exhibitors are looking hopefully for the film to do well in the coming weekend.
