Pushpa 2 is packed with continuous elevations and mass moments, sprinkled with a touch of emotion. Most of the elevation sequences work well. The Jathara episode is a standout, delivering a spectacular cinematic experience, with Allu Arjun undoubtedly giving his career-best performance. This episode alone is worth the ticket price.
Until the Jathara episode, the film feels like a guaranteed blockbuster. However, the narrative starts to dip toward the pre-climax and climax. The setup for Pushpa 3 feels unnecessary and diminishes the overall impact of the film.
Sukumar, known for his logical and calculated storytelling, veers off his usual path in Pushpa 2. He opts for a high-voltage mass entertainer, setting aside his signature logic and depth. Unfortunately, several strong characters from the first half, including the Fahadh Faasil’s role, are underutilized in the second half.
