Director Puri Jagannadh is all set to appear before Enforcement Directorate (ED) today. The director along with other Tollywood celebrities were issued summons by the government body in relation to the four-year-old drug case.
Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Mumaith Khan, Navdeep, Tarun, Tanish and Nandu are among others who will be appearing before ED in the coming days.
While Puri Jagannadh has been summoned by the ED on August 31, Rakul Preet has been summoned on September 6. Rana and Ravi Teja have been summoned on September 8 and 9, respectively. In 2017, these Tollywood celebrities and directors were questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as part of a high-end drug racket.
The ED is probing a money laundering case related to the drugs case which created a huge controversy in Tollywood back in 2017.
