Balakrishna is in the best form of his career with two successive hits. He first scored a hit with Akhanda which emerged as his career biggest blockbuster. With Veera Simha Reddy, he was able to pull the audience to theatres even with mixed reviews and average made it a big hit Both these films grossed 100 crores much to the happiness of Balayya and his fans.
Now, because of his hits streak, Balakrishna’s market value has increased considerably. Even Veera Simha Reddy’s pre-release business was terrific and Mythri Movie Makers sold the rights to great prices.
The producers are now offering big remunerations to Balakrishna. Before Akhanda, Balayya was charging around 10Cr remuneration. With successive hits, producers themselves are offering more than 20Cr remuneration and few are ready to give the shares in profits too.
Balakrishna will be next seen in Anil Ravipudi’s action entertainer. NBK108 will have all the commercial elements and even Anil Ravipudi mark comedy. This will be an interesting project as both Balayya and Anil have contrasting styles. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are producing this movie under Shine Screens banner. Thaman S is composing music for this film. Ram C Prasad is the cinematographer for this film, while Tammi Raju handled the responsibilities as the editor.
