Due to the surge of OTT and films released in dubbed languages, the movies are doing pretty good pre-release business.
But even then, why are the quality of the movies not increasing? In some cases, the quality of the film is also becoming worse, especially the big-budget films.
Well, the people in charge of making the film’s quality good, that is the bankrollers of the project have some things to say about this. The producers are saying that the reason for this is the ever-increasing demands of the actors, especially the star actors. And, it is not only the actors, even the directors are now increasing their remuneration after every movie.
As a result of this, the money that should be spent on enhancing the quality, is being spent elsewhere. The money that should be spent on the budget is being spent on remunerations itself. This trend needs to change if we want the industry to churn out good-quality content in the future.
