Owing to the popularity of the first part, Karthikeya 2 has garnered a very good craze among Telugu audiences. But it has been unable to find a release date for many months now. The release date has been postponed time and again.
They initially planned to release the film on July 22nd but Dil Raju forced them to postpone the movie because of Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You movie.
Nikhil also explained this issue in multiple interviews. He stated that Dil Raju asked us to push the film to avoid clashes with other films but how long can we keep pushing the release date?
After a lot of hurdles, the film is finally gearing up for release tomorrow but it is releasing in a very less number of theatres. Despite the good craze among audiences, the movie has not gotten a good number of shows. Many people are of the opinion that Dil Raju is targeting Nikhil on purpose.
Karthikeya 2 is releasing in theatres on 13th August on a Pan-Indian level. It also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher, and Srinivas Reddy in prominent roles. Chandoo Mondeti is the director of the film.
