It is widely known that the makers of Salaar have postponed the film’s release date from September 28th much to the disappointment of the fans. According to social media and industry discussions, the film is expected to be released on December 22nd, just before Christmas. The news is almost confirmed by the wife of Prashanth Neel on her social media account.
If the film releases on 22nd December, it also means that there will be a clash between the film and the much-awaited Dunki, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Though the official announcement from the makers of Salaar is still pending, it is almost certain that the film will be released on December 22nd, as the wife of Prashanth Neel indirectly confirmed by saying this December will never be the same.
Salaar has become one of the most hyped films of recent times. Prashanth Neel, who is known for the KGF franchise, is the director of the film, which has been surrounded by massive expectations among the fans and trade.
Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Ramachandra Raju, Sriya Reddy, Easwari Rao, and many others are all part of the ensemble cast in the film. Recently, the makers of the film postponed the release date of the film stating that there were some difficulties in the VFX department and the team had not yet received close to 600 VFX shots.
