Pradeep Ranganathan’s much-awaited film LIK (Love Insurance Kompany) has been postponed once again. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the futuristic romantic drama was originally scheduled for Diwali 2025 but has faced multiple delays since then.
New Release Date Announced
The film was expected to hit theaters on April 3rd, 2026, but the latest update confirms that LIK has been pushed by a week and will now release on April 10th, 2026. This marks yet another setback for the project, which has already been postponed multiple times in recent months.
Reasons Behind the Delay
According to reports, stakeholders have been informed that the postponement is due to the overseas Malaysia distributor citing that the Censor Board remains closed until March 30th for Hari Raya celebrations. However, sources suggest that the movie is also facing some financial issues, with discussions currently underway to resolve these concerns.
