Prabhas’s Adipurush is heading towards becoming the biggest disaster at the box office. Though the film had an extraordinary Sunday, the film could not continue the momentum at the box office in both Telugu and Hindi versions.
After a big drop on Monday, the film has witnessed a huge drop on Tuesday, and it is struggling a lot at the box office now and all the distributors are in big risk because now there is no chance for Adipurush to get to the breakeven mark. All the buyers are going to face big losses in all areas and Adipurush is heading towards becoming the biggest disaster now.
The film has collected around 305 Crores gross worldwide for 5 days and the breakeven is at 600 Crores gross. At this pace, the film may close under 400 Crores gross in its closing.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.
Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience. Theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 190 CRS and overall, the combined break even mark for all versions of the film is 320 CRS. The film needs to have a good run at least until the next weekend to be in the safe zone, but looking at the current trend, the target looks far away for Adipurush.
