After performing very well at the box office for the 3 days, Prabhas’s Adipurush crashes on its 1St Monday at the box office. It is very well known to everyone that the film got mixed response on day 1 but still, it surprised everyone by performing extremely well considering the talk it received.
Adipurush’s Telugu version has collected a share of 85Crs worldwide during its 1st weekend run. The film had an excellent 1st weekend at the box office, especially in the Telugu States and North India. Adipurush has collected a share of 145.5Crs worldwide (all versions) during its 1st weekend run, and there is a lot more to collect to reach its breakeven mark.
However, after a good weekend, in a shocking way, Adipurush crashes on its 1St Monday in both Telugu and Hindi. Considering the huge release, everyone had expected there would be a significant drop, but the drop is more than expected for noon and matinée shows.If the evening and night shows are also at the same pace, then the movie may end up as a big failure at the box office.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.
Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience. Theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 190 CRS and overall, the combined break even mark for all versions of the film is 320 CRS. The film needs to have a good run at least until the next weekend to be in the safe zone.
