It is very well known to everyone that Prabhas’s Adipurush, the film based on the epic Ramayana was released amidst massive expectations but due to the negative response, the film crashed at the box office after having an extraordinary 3 days. Let’s take a look at the 10 days worldwide box office collections of Adipurush.
The film had a very ordinary 2nd weekend [Friday – Sunday]. The Telugu version has collected around 6 Crores share worldwide and the total 10 days Telugu worldwide share would be around 104 – 105 Crores. In Hindi, the film has collected around 9 Crores net in India on 2nd weekend. Overall, Adipurush’s 10 days worldwide all languages gross will be close to 350 Crores.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram/Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki/Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan/Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman/Seshu and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman/Bajrang. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.
Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory has brought the movie to the Telugu audience.
The Theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 190 CRS and overall, the combined break even mark for all versions of the film is 320 CRS. The film needed a good run at least until for 2,3 weeks to be in the safe zone, but the film succumbed to the negative talk, and now it has almost ended its run at the box office.
