Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, which stars Prabhas, collected a worldwide gross of more than 550 crores. Despite a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which was also released around Christmas 2024, the action drama is still dominating the box office. In an interview with the media, Prabhas discussed the possibility of Salaar 2, which is being called Salaar: Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, as well as his plans for 2024.

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan were among the actors who appeared in Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire with Prabhas. The Baahubali Actor added, “My only goal is to entertain the maximum people around the world with my work. The films I choose are mainly motivated by that idea. The next film (Kalki) will be a futuristic one. Salaar is a strong mass film, and the next project (Maruthi’s film) is a horror film. I aim to explore different genres to keep the audience entertained, and I expect that they will show as much love to my future films as they did to Salaar”.
The filmmaker Prashanth Neel shared his thoughts on what is coming for Salaar: Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam during a recent interview. The director expressed his eagerness to present the conclusion of the film. He mentioned that the world and characters he established in Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire will be brought together in the sequel to the movie.
Salaar 2 has to start quickly
The team of Salaar has to plan part 2 quickly as it is always good for part 1 and part 2 to have a minimal gap. Then the hype and audience’s anticipation towards the film will be very high, but we need to see how quick the movie will be able to materialize.
Both the actor and director of Salaar have already previous commitments that is the issue for the second part of Salaar. Prashanth Neel has committed to a film with NTR, Prabhas has Kalki 2898 AF, Maruthi’s film and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Salaar 2 will likely go on to the sets in 2025 end.
