Prabhas’s Adipurush, has come under heavy criticism since it was released in theaters on last Friday. The film has created box office records on its first three days, and after that crashed at the box office. As per the audience’s response, there is still a large section of the audience that has criticized the scenes, character sketches, changes in Ramayana and some dialogues which seemed to be inappropriate for the genre. However, the fans of Prabhas are circulating a Video of their favorite hero during Radhe Shyam promotions, in which Prabhas’s words indirectly gave a hint that he knows the result of Adipurush.
In the video, Prabhas states that it is okay to make mistakes in other films, but in Adipurush if we mistake it’s not fine. It looks like while shooting the film itself, Prabhas was not happy with the changes being made to the Epic Ramayan in the name of modernization and in the sets only he asked the director Om Raut many times, but the director convinced him that the changes will work out so it was total mistake on the director Om Raut and his team.
Occasionally it is common that the heroes know something is going wrong with the film, but they can only ask it to suggest some changes but cannot overturn the entire scenario. It is very rare for a hero to make changes in the script or screenplay of a film which is on the sets. However, because of the director Om Raut’s over excitement and creativity, now the whole Adipurush team is facing the backlash from the Indian Cinema audience.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.
Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience. Theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 190 CRS and overall, the combined break even mark for all versions of the film is 320 CRS. The film needs to have a good run at least until the next weekend to be in the safe zone, but looking at the current trend, the target looks far away for Adipurush.
