Pan-Indian star Prabhas’ Fauzi is back in the limelight as the makers officially announced its release date. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the highly anticipated period war drama has generated significant excitement among fans.
The team officially revealed that Fauzi will hit theaters worldwide on December 3, 2026, releasing in six Indian languages. Alongside the release date announcement, the makers unveiled a striking new poster featuring Prabhas shirtless, covered in blood, and holding a gun against a war-torn backdrop—a powerful visual that has greatly amplified anticipation for the film.
Period War Drama Set in 1940s India
Set in the 1940s, Fauzi is described as “the bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history.” Director Hanu Raghavapudi, who previously helmed Sita Ramam, shared his vision on social media, announcing: “On 3rd DECEMBER 2026, the #Fauzi march begins.” The fictional historical drama promises to deliver a gripping story of courage, honor, and freedom.
Imanvi plays the female lead, while the supporting cast features veteran actors Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, and Chaitra J. Achar. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
Currently in the filming stage, Fauzi is set for a multilingual release later this year and is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and eagerly awaited Indian films in production.
