Tiger Shroff Safe After Shots Fired at His Car in Mumbai’s Juhu, Police Launch Manhunt

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has escaped unhurt after bike-borne assailants opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening.

Mumbai Police confirmed the actor is safe. “Actor Tiger Shroff is safe and has not sustained any gunshot injuries,” the police said, adding that further investigation is underway.

What Happened

The incident took place near Pushpa Park, under the limits of the Juhu Police Station in Mumbai’s western suburbs.

According to early reports, unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire at the car Tiger Shroff was travelling in. Some reports say three men were on the bike.

Tiger Shroff was not hurt. Reports say his driver was injured, but there is no official word yet on the nature of the injury.

Manhunt Underway

The police have launched a manhunt to trace the attackers. Special teams are going through CCTV footage from the area to identify the people involved.

A police official said the chain of events that led to the firing is still being pieced together. No arrests have been reported so far.

Gang Claim Video Under Scrutiny

Soon after the incident, a video surfaced online in which a man who identified himself as Anil Pandit claimed to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the video, he claimed responsibility for the attack and said Tiger Shroff was targeted for “not heeding our directions” and for “working with Salman Khan.”

The police have not confirmed the claim or the authenticity of the video yet.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been linked to threats against Bollywood figures in the past, including the 2024 firing outside Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra.

No Statement From Tiger Yet

Tiger Shroff and his family have not made any public statement so far. The actor’s fans have flooded social media with messages of relief and concern after news of the incident spread.

The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected as the police probe continues.
