Prabhas’ Adipurush is being shot at great speed with the new schedule going on floors in Mumbai last month. Director Om Raut has decided to wrap up this schedule as soon as possible. Both Prabhas and Kriti Sanon have some crucial scenes in this schedule.
With the shoot going on at great speed and theatres in other states also opening up, the makers have now finalized the release date as well. The film will be hitting the screens worldwide on 11th August 2022.
Prabhas’ Adipurush will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar. Adipurush has been extensively shot using chroma and the background will be added later. VFX technicians from Hollywood will handle the extensive visual effects that will be used in the film.
The mythological drama is based on Ramayan and is being directed by Om Raut. Prabhas will be playing the titular role of Adipurush (Lord Ram). The film also features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh. The pan India project will release worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
