Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie that released on April 9th earlier this year had terrific openings and fetched great reviews. Pawan Kalyan’s performance especially was well appreciated.
However, as fate would have it, the movie’s theatrical run had to end abruptly due to Covid second wave. The movie was premiered on Amazon Prime just 20 days after its theatrical release.
Vakeel Saab had its World TV Premiere on Zee TV on July 18th. The TRP ratings are out and are not quite what was expected. The courtroom drama fetched a TRP of 19.12 and couldn’t even break into the Top 10 TRP records as expected.

- Sarileru Neekevvaru – 23.04
- Baahubali 2- 22.7
A remake of the 2016 Bollywood movie Pink, Venu Sriram has directed this courtroom drama. The movie also featured a solid support cast featuring Prakash Raj, Shruti Haasan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagalla in key roles.
