Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi’s names need no introduction to the Telugu Film fraternity. Megastar Chiranjeevi had an astonishing journey in the Telugu industry and he is seen as an inspiration to many people in the industry and normal audience as well.
Pawan Kalyan, who started his career as a brother of megastar Chiranjeevi soon made a mark of himself with continuous blockbusters which made him a youth icon. Both these brothers are very powerful heroes at the box office and enjoy an enormous fan base.
However, seeing their recent choices of films, fans and moviegoers are feeling very disappointed. Both brothers are making wrong choices and are not able to catch the present trend and the audience’s taste.
Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar combo was confirmed long ago, The title and poster of the film were also released much to the happiness of fans. But after that, the film didn’t make it to the sets because of many changes in Pawan Kalyan’s choices and his schedule.
Now the industry circles are saying that this project has been shelved and instead of Straight film they are doing Tamil movie Theri’s Remake. Theri movie is already dubbed and released in Telugu and it’s available in OTT also.
Doing the remake of Theri will be a risky decision because after covid audiences are rejecting the remakes and remade movies are not doing well at the box office. We can understand if they make an unknown film as a remake but doing the remake of a film that is already available in Telugu is much riskier.
Recently same happened with Chiranjeevi’s Godfather. The film had received positive talk but the box office collections were poor. A lot of audiences have already watched Lucifer in OTT and it damaged godfather. Now Pawan Kalyan also repeating the same mistake. He might also face the same repeat if he goes on to remake Theri.
