Mythri Movie Makers have have had a great Sankranti 2023 with both their movies Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy performing great at the box office.
Mythri Movie Makers have entered the distribution business in Nizam and are hoping to hit big with their movies Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Traditionally, Nizam region distribution is the strong area of players like Sunil Narang from Asian Group and Dil Raju who himself is producing Varasudu and Ajith’s Thunivu.
Now there’s a slight sharing issue that has cropped up for Mythri Movie Makers. From this Monday Multiplexes are offering a 45% share but Mythri are demanding 55% for Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. There are still discussions going on the matter and this is why the shares are not calculated for the movies from Monday.
Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya had a terrific two weeks run and is still going strong. The movie has already crossed the 100 crore share mark and is doing well overseas as well. Waltair Veerayya has crossed breakeven in all territories quite comfortably and has achieved blockbuster status.
Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy started pretty strongly during the Sankranti season. On day one, it gave Balayya’s career best opening and did a great job during the opening weekend. After the completion of festival days, Veera Simha Reddy dropped at the box office. Still, the movie has managed 100 crores gross. Both these movies have given a great festival gift to Mythri Movie Makers.
