Responding to a question about her anxiety and mental health journey, Payal shared that she had attended a Vipassana meditation course in Jaipur around seven to eight months ago. She revealed that this phase coincided with her father being diagnosed with cancer, a period she described as emotionally devastating and difficult to navigate.

Recalling those moments, she said she felt completely shattered and struggled to cope with the situation. Payal spoke about not knowing how to console her mother or herself, adding that her father was the “hero” of her life. Her father passed away after battling the illness, leaving a profound impact on the actress. As she continued sharing her memories, the emotional weight became overwhelming, and she eventually broke down in tears before stepping away from the stage.
