The makers of Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth’s film have been promoting OG as the working title for the film for the past few days. Now the producers have officially confirmed that OG (Original Gangster) has been chosen as the movie’s official title. A fan of Power Star had tagged the official handle of the makers and asked them to not change the title, to which they replied there will be no change and the film will be titled as “OG” only.
The film will have a pan-Indian release such as Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada languages. From the beginning stage itself, fans of Pawan Kalyan and other audience also felt that the OG title would be perfect for the film.
The film is produced by the legendary production company DVV Entertainments. Pawan Kalyan and young director Sujeeth are collaborating on this movie for the first time. An interesting poster was used to announce the film, and the producers confirmed that Sujeeth will write and direct it. The announcement poster, which highlighted some Japanese names, generated a lot of anticipation around the film.
It is said that Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a mafia don/gangster in the movie, as the title implies. The narration style of the film would be in the lines of Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, where the hero will have less screen time but all the happenings on screen will be around him.
OG, the film has a huge ensemble cast which includes Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Emran Hashmi, Iswarya Menon and Arjun Das. The makers are planning to release the film in December 2023.
