It’s raining records for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. After registering the best Day 1 figure and extraordinary opening weekend and subsequent weekday figures, Pathaan has now done what many didn’t imagine. This action thriller has now become the first Bollywood film to join the Rs 400 crore nett in India.
From Tollywood, Baahubali 2 and from Sandalwood KGF2 have achieved this mark and overall now Pathaan stands strong among the top 3. In the next 3-4 days it will become the second-ranking movie in the list by crossing KGF2 net and will chase Baahubali2 in full run.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller Pathaan is now on the verge of joining the 1000-crore club at the global box office. Pathaan was released on 25th January, a day before Republic Day 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. It also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and is backed up by Yash Raj Films. The film smashed records even before its release with its incredible advance bookings and is continuing to do so now.
Shahrukh Khan has made a remarkable return with this blockbuster. It is safe to say this film brought back people to the theatres and has ended the dull phase of Bollywood.
