డ్యాషింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ పూరి జగన్నాథ్ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తూ స్వయంగా రామ్ పోతినేని హీరోగా నిర్మించిన లేటెస్ట్ మాస్ యాక్షన్ మూవీ డబుల్ ఇస్మార్ట్. ఈ మూవీలో కావ్య థాపర్ హీరోయిన్ గా నటించగా మణిశర్మ సంగీతం అందించారు. బాలీవుడ్ స్టార్ నటుడు సంజయ్ దత్ విలన్ గా కనిపించిన ఈ మూవీ పై మొదటి నుండి అందరిలో మంచి అంచనాలు ఉన్నాయి.

ఇక నిన్న గ్రాండ్ గా ఆడియన్స్ ముందుకి వచ్చిన డబుల్ ఇస్మార్ట్ మూవీ ఊహించని విధంగా నెగటివ్ టాక్ అందుకుంది. అయితే ఓవరాల్ గా రామ్ యాక్టింగ్, అక్కడక్కడా కొన్ని యాక్షన్ సీన్స్ తప్ప మూవీలో పెద్దగా మ్యాటర్ ఏమి లేదు. విషయం ఏమిటంటే, ఈ మూవీలో బోకా క్యారెక్టర్‌లో కమెడియన్ ఆలీ నటించారు.

నిజానికి మూవీలో ఇది చాలా చిరాకు కలిగించే కామెడీ ట్రాక్ ఇది. ఆలీ వచ్చినప్పుడల్లా ప్రేక్షకులు చాలా చిరాకుగా ఫీలవుతున్నారు. రెండు సీన్స్ బాగున్నాయి అనుకునేలోపు ఆలీ ట్రాక్ మధ్యలో వచ్చి దానిని డ్యామేజ్ చేస్తుంది. కాగా ఆలీ ట్రాక్ లేకపోతే కొంచెం బెటర్ టాక్ వచ్చేది డబుల్ ఇస్మార్ట్ కి. మొత్తంగా ఆలీ బొకగా సినిమాలో చేసాడు కానీ సినిమాకి ఆ క్యారెక్టర్ పెద్ద బొక్క అని చెప్పకతప్పదు. ఈ క్యారెక్టర్ ని మూవీలో ఇకపై ట్రిమ్ చేస్తే బెటర్.

Puri Jagannadh and Ram’s much-awaited Double Ismart hit the screens yesterday amidst great expectations. The first part Ismart Shankar’s success added further hype to this film. Along with that, an Independence Day release meant that the film had everything going well for it. All that this Puri Jagannadh film needed was a decent talk which, unfortunately, didn’t happen. Here’s a detailed breakdown of Double Imsart First Day collections.

The total worldwide day 1 collections stand around Rs 7 crores. This is a pretty poor show considering the hype the film had managed to create. The bookings for Day 2 also are not showing a positive trend. Coming to the overseas markets and the rest of India, the numbers are very poor. Compared to Double Ismart, Pursi’s previous film Liger took a better start in Hindi. Double Ismart had a disastrous start in Hindi.

Double Ismart Breakeven

Double Ismart’s theatrical rights are valued at RS 54 Cr. Day one brought in just 13% recovery and with Day 2 bookings being poor, all eyes are on Saturday and Sunday. If the film doesn’t see a miraculous jump over the next two days, then achieving a breakeven would be quite tough for the film.

Poor Opening for Mr Bachchan and Double Ismart

Mr Bachchan and Double Ismart were released ahead of the Independence Day weekend. Both the films were carrying huge buzz. Unfortunately, poor talk and unfavorable reviews led both movies to have a poor opening.

Double Imsart’s business is 3 times that of Imsart Shankar whereas the opening day is just around 2/3rd of Ismart Shankar’s opening day numbers. This will certainly create a big dent in the overall collections of this Puri Jagannadh film starring Ram. The worldwide opening day share is expected to be around 7 Cr which is truly not up to expectations.

The premieres of Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachachan directed by Harish Shankar impacted the film severely leading to poor openings in all territories. The 1st-day opening share is expected around 5 Cr only which is truly below par considering it was a return of the combo of Harish Shankar and Ravi Teja.

Even today’s bookings for Mr Bachchan and Double Ismart are pretty poor and if the same trend continues, both films won’t be able to achieve the expected numbers.

Mr. Bachchan film directed by Harish Shankar released today. The film starring Ravi Teja in the lead role secured mostly negative reviews and word of mouth from the audience. Netizens have started trolling the director and lead actor for doing this film already. But, the team conducted a success meet on the opening day itself where Harish Shankar blamed dance choreographer, Sekhar Master for a reason.

One particular still from Sitar song got leaked online after the film’s release and it stirred a controversy for its objectionable depiction. A reporter questioned Harish Shankar about the explicity of the pose in the song. The Director then blamed dance choreographer of the song, Sekhar Master for executing that particular movement. He said that he had felt discomfort while picturising that but went ahead not to disturb Sekhar Master’s flow.

However, this sounded too foolish. If Harish Shankar didn’t want to disturb the dance choreographer he could have later chopped the movement citing an objection. But the team chose to retain it only to create publicity for the film. The whole song had so many objectionable movements and intimacy between Ravi Teja and Bhagyashree. So Harish Shankar feeling bad only about this particular one sounds very childish. The team and Ravi Teja are also getting trolled for over explicit scenes in the film throughout.

‘Thalapathy’ Vijay will be next seen in a dual role in a sci-fi actioner called ‘The Greatest Of All Time’. Written and directed by ace filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, it stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Malavika Sharma as the female leads.

AGS Entertainment is bankrolling this venture on a big scale. The film’s promotions have been in full swing in recent times. While the songs received mixed responses, the posters were well received. It is scheduled for a worldwide release on 5 September 2024.

As a part of promotions, a theatrical trailer of the film has been made by the makers. According to an official update, it will be unveiled at 5 PM on 17 August 2024. Announcing the same, a stunning poster was released by the production house. Youvan Shankar Raja is the music composer.

‘Natural Star’ Nani’s Next Is Hit-3!

‘Natural Star’ Nani will be next seen in Vivek Athreya’s vigilante thriller ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’. Starring Priyanka Arul Mohan and S. J. Suryah as the female lead and antagonist, respectively, it is scheduled to release on 29th August, 2024.

Like his previous ventures Dasara (2023) and Hi Nanna (2023), this film too will have a release across five languages. The promotional material released so far has improved the buzz around the movie, and a solid opening is expected by the makers and trade.

As a part of promoting Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Nani disclosed that he will play a cop on-screen in his next release; an official announcement regarding the same will be out in the first week of September. Though not explicitly stated, fans are well aware that the ‘Natural Star’ is referring to Sailesh Kolanu’s Hit: The Third Case.

Game Changer: Promotions failure

Game Changer starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar is one of the most awaited projects of Tollywood. The film has been under shoot stage for more than two years and there is only a few days portion left. But the team and the Director Shankar have completely lacked in promoting the film properly since the beginning. Game Changer has undergone a massive promotional failure only to the disappointment of fans and audience.

Producer Dil Raju has recently declared the release date of the film as well. He said that the film will arrive during the Christmas season this year. So with just 4 months left for the release, the film has not yet created a massive buzz among the people. The film’s teaser or a small glimpse from the film have not yet been released by the team which is very disappointing.

The film which deals with social issue didn’t cash the Independence day occasion as well. Shankar has completely failed in utlising today’s prominence for a poster or a teaser. Manorathangal OTT: The Star-Studded Web Series Streaming Now

Manorathangal, a short story-based web series, is currently airing on Zee5 and is nothing short of spectacular,’ despite its slow pace. The web series is based on the writings of MT Vasudevan Nair, a great novelist, screenwriter, and filmmaker. Tamil superstar Kamal Hassan launches the nine-episode online series, discussing the brilliance of ‘MT’ and his relationship with him. Eight directors and numerous superstars, including Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Fahaad Fasaal, played the lead parts.

Mammoty successfully portrays a journalist who goes on a search for his sister. What makes the story suspenseful is whether or not he finds his sister and what challenges he faces along the way. Mohanlal, on the other hand, plays a Muslim shopkeeper who falls for his friend’s sister. The monochrome episode fairly employs artistic liberty to explain topics, requiring the audience to identify the storyteller’s point of view.

Fahadh Faasil plays the part of a young man who moves to Canada. The episode focuses on the modern-day issues of people who travel overseas and feel confined. Mindscapes, the series’ English title, is a collection of stories centered on Kerala culture and Keralites, among other topics. The 9-episode series is a slow-paced experience that may disappoint some viewers, but its fresh approach, natural settings, and standout performances make it a must-see.

Double Ismart and Mr. Bachchan OTT streaming details

Double Ismart and Mr Bachchan were released earlier today to mostly mixed talk and reviews. Both these films have managed to secure the highly anticipated Independence Day weekend release that was earlier reserved for Pushpa 2. However, with the postponement of the Sukumar film, Double Ismart and Mr Bachchan fixed 15th August as their release date.

The OTT release details of both these films are out. While Mr Bachchan’s digital rights have been acquired by Netflix, Double Ismart will stream on Amazon Prime Video. Two other releases- Vikram’s Thangalaan and the Bollywood film Stree have also hit the screens today and their OTT release details have also been revealed.

Thangalaan directed by P.A. Ranjith will be streaming on Netflix while Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights of the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starter horror comedy Stree.
