Continuous failures are impacting several Tollywood heroes’ market significantly. This stands true for several Tier 2 and small heroes. Now tier 2 heroes who are in dull phase are even struggling to get good budget projects as producers feel it might be a huge risk. This rule however, doesn’t seem to apply for Naga Chaitanya, who’s gearing up for Thandel.

Naga Chaitanya, like several others have also delivered two big disasters with Thank you and Custody. Despite that, producers and directors are showing big interest in signing him and believing his potential.

Thandel is a great example of this as it is the biggest budget film in Naga Chaitanya’s career. The budget is almost 100 Cr and in final phase of shooting. The film has been announced for a February 2025 release.

His has signed his next project with Virupaksha director Karthik. This will also be a big budget project and will be shot on a larger scale than Thandel. Clearly, continuous box-office failures have not shaken producer’s faith on Naga Chaitanya as it has happened in other hero’s cases.

Sankranthi 2025 is shaping up to be a blockbuster season for Telugu cinema, with prominent players locking horns at the box office. Adding to the competition is Sitara Entertainments’ Daaku Maharaj, another project associated with Dil Raju’s close circle.

However, the equation takes an intriguing turn with Mythri Movie Makers entering the race with Good Bad Ugly, starring Tamil superstar Ajith. While Ajith has a limited market in Telugu states, Mythri’s robust distribution network and control over theaters make this film a significant contender.

Interestingly, when Mythri released Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy during Sankranthi 2023, Dil Raju managed to secure a grand release for Vijay’s Varisu. Now, it remains to be seen if Mythri reciprocates the gesture or disrupts Game Changer’s opening prospects by aggressively promoting Good Bad Ugly.

The timing is critical, as Good Bad Ugly is reportedly slated for a January 10th release, potentially impacting the number of screens available for Game Changer. The situation is further complicated as Ram Charan’s next project is with Mythri Movie Makers, adding an element of diplomacy to the clash.

This competition isn’t limited to Telugu states. With Good Bad Ugly expected to dominate Tamil Nadu, Game Changer may face hurdles in the Tamil market as well. Tollywood Dance Choreographer, Jani Master who was recently jailed for allegedly involving in a sexual assault against a female Dance choreographer has resurfaced again. The Choreographer, who kept himself busy spending time with his wife and kids, appeared for a film event to everyone’s shock. This gives rise to a serious question, Is Jani Master still allowed in Tollywood? And if allowed who is behind this?

A person who was alleged of assualting a female colleague repeatedly must be kept away from a Film Industry or its activities. And moreover, this case is also before the court which may even convict him if necessary. So, how did Jani Master casually appear for events as if nothing had happened. He was earlier removed from the Dance Association Body as well. And no one knows how this was allowed to happen shockingly. And if he is allowed to participate in film activities, why suspending him earlier from these posts?

If such assault cases or allegations are taken casually by the elite section of Tollywood and the Film Chamber, then it may send a wrong signal for others. Strict action must be taken by the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) in this regard by containing him till the verdict is pronounced by the Court.

Pushpa 2 continues to face delays in shooting, and the release date has been continuously postponed.With just two weeks left until its release, one song shoot is still pending, which is expected to start on 22nd November. Sukumar is known for handling these last-minute hurdles.

Due to these delays, Sukumar and DSP have decided to bring in additional music directors for the background score. Thaman, Sam CS, and Ajaneesh were brought on board.

Sukumar is said to be very pleased with Sam CS’s work. He composed the background music for a few scenes, which greatly satisfied Sukumar, leading him to ask Sam to work on additional scenes. Ajaneesh reportedly composed the BGM for the ‘Jathara’ episode, which turned out to be extraordinary.

Their family has long been seen as a strong unit, so this statement is all the more surprising. AR Rahman has yet to comment on the breakup. On the work front A.R Rahaman is working on professional projects like Chhaava, Thug Life, and a collaboration with Ram Charan and Buchi Babu.
