Naga Chaitanya’s Birthday: NC24 announced

Tollywood Actor, Naga Chaitanya celebrates his 38th Birthday today. The Actor is already busy with his big production film, Thandel co-starring Sai Pallavi. The film also had its first song released recently. Based on few real life incidents in the lives of fishermen, Thandel will also be a heart touching love story releasing on February 7th next year. Now, Naga Chaitanya’s next film, tentatively titled, NC24 has been announced.

NC24 looks like an adventure based film as seen from the concept based poster released by the Actor. He also termed the theme of the film as “an excavation into Mythical thrills and shivers“. The film will be directed by Karthik Dandu and produced by BVSN Prasad under his SVCC Banner. The film will also be produced by Sukumar Writings, banner of Director Sukumar. Further details regarding the cast and crew are yet to come out officially.

Naga Chaitanya is surely hoping to give a solid comeback with Thandel. He seems to have put his everything into the film which can be witnessed from the posters and the song as well. NC24 will also be made to give him a solid lineup.

Friday witnessed the release of three films, Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, Zebra, and Vishwak Sen’s Mechanic Rocky. Kissik song promo from Pushpa 2 raises hype

Actress Sree Leela’s special dance number, Kissik promo from Pushpa 2 is out now. The promo has raised further hype ahead of the release of the song tomorrow at 7:02 PM on YouTube. Fans and Audience have been waiting eagerly for the song to witness the dancing charm of both Allu Arjun and Sree Leela. The song is also expected to become the chartbuster of the year.

The song is also expected to be on the lines of earlier chartbuster Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava song from Pushpa. Kissik now has added as a major hype for the film ahead of the release featuring Samantha in a deadly hot avatar. The song has also contributed to the career of Samantha by propelling her opportunities in the Bollywood due to its nationwide popularity.

Now, Sree Leela would also be waiting to repeat the same phenomenon with Kissik song. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad and lyrics penned by Chandrabose, the song had vocals from Sublahshini. The song’s other language versions will also be released simultaneously tomorrow. Pushpa 2 is scheduled for release on 5th December worldwide. This weekend saw the release of Mechanic Rocky, Zebra and Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. While the new releases are running in theatres, Amaran and Lucky Baskhar continuing their successful run at the box office. There’s plenty to watch on the big screens for film lovers. Apart from the big screen, there’s plenty to watch on various OTT platforms as well with several new releases lined up. Here are some weekend OTT release recommendations for you to enjoy.

Nayanthara: Beyond Fairy Tale (Netflix) – The much-hyped and awaited documentary covering Nayanthara’s wedding to Vignesh Shivan is live on Netflix. The documentary takes through Nayanthara’s journey to stardom, her struggles and her victories.

Bagheera (Netflix) : Sri Murali starter action entertainer Bagheera was released last month. The film backed by Hombale Films has its story written by Prashanth Neel. Catch the action blast on Netflix in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Martin (Netflix) – Dhruv Sarja starter action film Martin was hugely hyped across the Kannada industry. The film was written by Action King Arjun and was a massive disappointment and underperformed at the box office.

The Rana Daggubati Show (Amazon Prime Video) – Rana’s cool and casual celebrity talk show is making its way to the small screens today. The promos have managed to create quite a buzz and it needs to be seen how the show plays out. The format and style are going to be completely different from usual talk shows and that’s the show’s biggest drawing factor.

Kishkindha Kaandam (Disney + Hotstar )– Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali starter mystery thriller is one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the year. The film is now available for streaming on Hotstar in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

Laggam (Aha Video)– Sai Ronak, Rajendra Prasad, Pragya Nagra starter romantic drama Laggam is now streaming on Aha.

Repati Velugu and I Hate You (ETV Win)– Repati Velugu starring Shatru, Prasanth Karthi, Vismaya Sri, and Aadvik Bandaru is now streaming on ETV Win and so is Karthi Raju, Moksha and Sherry Agarwal starter romantic thriller I Hate You.

Ravikula Raghurama (Sun Nxt) – Gautham Verma, Deepshikha Nagpal, and Satya starter romantic drama is the new release on Sun Next.

Amaran OTT: No Delays

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Amaran’s blockbuster run has been a massive gift for exhibitors and distributors all over. Theatre owners, in fact, requested Amaran producers to push Amaran OTT release and asked to stream the film on OTT after 8 weeks of release as the movie is still running with good numbers. Even in the presence of Kanguva, Amaran continues to be the no.1 choice for the moviegoers.

Now reports have emerged that the Amaran OTT release is not getting delayed and it’s expected to stream on 29th November on Netflix in all languages. This is disappointing news for theatre owners who were expecting to see an extended theatrical run for this biographical action drama.

With Kanguva’s failure, the theatre owners are quite dependent on Amaran and even Lucky Baskhar to some extent. Both movies arrive on OTT next weekend as the deal with the OTT giant have been already decided and closed.

Pushpa 2 Gears Up for a Crucial Second Trailer

The first trailer of Pushpa 2 was released at a grand event in Patna recently. This move attempted to create a massive buzz in the north for this prestigious pan-India project. Thankfully for Sukumar, Allu Arjun, and others, Pushpa 2 paid off.

Pushpa 2’s first trailer worked pretty well for North Indian audiences, while down South, it had a mixed response. It hasn’t met the expectations of the Telugu audience, and this can be seen in the way USA Premiers Advances is performing. The advances are trending in the range of Devara now, which is below the expectations level considering it’s a sequel.

The Telugu buyers bought the film for very a big price and the film needs to create much more hype. The anticipated special song Kissik will be released tomorrow night. And the team is also releasing 2nd trailer next week. The 2nd trailer of Pushpa reportedly features action episode shots and new song shots which is being shot now. Three Films for Sankranthi 2025

KA set for OTT streaming

Kiran Abbavaram’s KA was released this Diwali alongside Lucky Baskhar and Amaran. Despite strong competition, KA did fairly well and was a box-office success. After achieving its target theatrically, the fantasy thriller is now getting ready for its OTT premiere.

The movie’s digital rights were bought by ETV Win and it’s expected to stream on the OTT platform by next weekend. Audience OTT reception is also extremely critical as the makers are planning for a sequel.

Directed by Sujith and Sandeep KA was produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy. Noted Tamil Music Director, Sam C.S gave music for the film and his score was highly appreciated. KA also starred Tanvi Ram, Nayan Sarika, and Achyuth Kumar in key roles.

The film’s screenplay, technical values, and BGM were appreciated by all and emerged as the film’s biggest strengths. Now all eyes are on the OTT release which will decide the fate of KA 2.

Sivakarthikeyan is at the peak of his career thanks to the Rs 300 crore grosser Amaran. His lineup includes some very interesting films and if they hit the bull’s eye, he can cement his place as the most bankable star in Kollywood. Currently, he is doing AR Murugadoss film which is in its final stages of production and will be released in the summer of 2025.

He has also signed a project with Sudha Kongara and this story is reportedly based on a touching and sensitive concept. The film is based on a true story of anti-Hindi imposition in Tamil Nadu and is set in 1965.

This is an extremely bold choice by Sivakarthikeyan considering the subject. Jayam Ravi will be playing the villain role in this film while Sree Leela is roped in as the female lead. The shoot of this Sudha Kongara film will start in early 2025. After this Sivakarthikeyan will collaborate with Don director Cibil. Looking at this lineup of interesting projects, Sivakarthikeyan’s career looks very promising
