Salman Khan and Murugadoss’ Sikandar shoot begins

The much awaited combination of Bollywood Actor Salman Khan and Tamil Director A.R. Murugadoss is set to rock the audience. Their film has already been titled, Sikandar and its shoot has begun now at a studio in Mumbai where Salman Khan would be performing a stunt on a set erected for Train sequence.

The film will also star Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role and Suniel Shetty in a pivotal role. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar aims to release as an Eid outing in 2025. Furthermore details regarding the cast and crew will be out soon.

Salman Khan has long wished to associate with Murugadoss who gave few blockbusters in Bollywood. The Director is however currently in a dull phase with back to back flops and disappointments in the recent past years. He has already collaborated with Tamil Actor, Siva Karthikeyan for a film which is currently under shoot. So, alongwith Sikandar Murugadoss hopes of a grand comeback.

Pushpa 2 Censor Cuts and Report

Pushpa 2 is just a week away from its release and the team is extremely busy with promotions and packed with back-to-back events. The film’s censor screening was held earlier today and received a positive response from the board members.

The censor board has made some cuts and modifications to certain scenes containing strong language and extreme violence. Some modifications like Randi being replaced with Lapaki, Venkateswara being replaced with Bhagavanthudu, and a minor 1-second bit with profanity were muted. Apart from this, scenes containing violence and blood were recommended for censor by the board.

As revealed earlier, the film has a run time of 3 hours 20 minutes i.e. 200 minutes. Each half of the movie is 100 minutes long. Such a long runtime might backfire if the movie is not packed with an engaging plot and exciting sequences. The producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar recently revealed that the runtime is not at all an issue and the audience will be thoroughly entertained through the entire runtime.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal had a similar runtime and managed to be a blockbuster and the fans are hoping the same or even better result gets repeated this year. Meanwhile, the advance bookings for Pushpa 2 have started, and looking at the way the film has reached the masses, the film is expected to get off to a roaring start all over.

Pushpa 2 Kerala event becomes big success

The team of Pushpa 2 conducted an event in Kochi, Kerala yesterday as part of the promotional acitivities of the film. The event became a big success drawing so much attention for the film in the state which has also been very supportive of Allu Arjun over the years. The team is super happy with the success and also expects a big result at the Kerala box office.

The 4th song from the film, Peelings has also been played with few visuals also being shown in the event. This song, as said by Allu Arjun during his speech, contains Malayalam lyrics in all the versions of the songs. The Actor also expressed that the song has come out very well and he also danced to the core in the song to impress the audience.

Kanguva Producer now blames audience’s review

The Co-Producer of Kanguva, Dhananjeyan recently stated that the film was hit by the negativity intentionally created by two fandoms and two political parties. His comments became viral instantly on social media platforms also sparking a wide range of trolls and criticism. Many netizens mocked him for lacking clarity as to why the film became a big disaster and for also blaming fans of other Actors. The Producer now has again come up blaming audience’s review for the underperformance of the film.

Dhananjeyan while speaking in an interview said that one of the audiences who watched the film went overboard while presenting his review after coming out of the theatre. He also said that such amount of trolling on a film while giving an opinion wasn’t needed before the media, which according to him looked overconcentrated. He reiterated that media took an active part in covering such overboard reviews and thereby contributing for the negative talk of the film.

These comments weren’t received well by the netizens who are now trolling him again badly. It seems the Producer or the team hasn’t come into normal terms after the utter failure of the film. What Dhananjeyan must understand is that the reviewer who he took objection to would have gone overboard by his antics but not about his opinion.

The reviewer or the audience didn’t find good substance in the film which led to a massive trolling on the film instantly. The plot execution, content and certain scenes felt too shabby for the range of the film as promoted by them before the release. So, now blaming Audience or certain secion of media or fans of other Actors only explains their foolishness and it’s better if they understand the reality.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Mega Surya Productions’s Period Action Epic Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part-1 Sword vs Spirit enters last leg of shooting

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, one of the craziest stars of Indian Cinema, is starring in a period action epic for the first time in his career. The movie titled, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part-1 Sword vs Spirit, is being produced on a massive scale aiming at giving audiences a unique and lasting theatrical experience.

Recently, the team completed shooting of a gigantic action sequence, under the guidance of Hollywood legend Nick Powell. The action director has been specially recruited for this highly imaginative sequence involving 400 – 500 stuntmen and extra artistes. Pawan Kalyan also joined the shoot and makers are thrilled with the output.

Now, they have announced another powerful update regarding this highly anticipated film. The movie has entered last leg of shooting and the final schedule will start in Vijayawada from this weekend.

In this schedule, the makers are planning to shoot another massive sequence involving Pawan Kalyan with 200 artistes. With this mega sequence, the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, will be concluded and the movie is on schedule to release in March.

Young director Jyothi Krisna is directing this massive scale action epic keeping Pawan Kalyan fans expectations in mind. He has been instrumental in creating good hype and buzz around the film with timely updates and goosebumps inducing teaser.

After the disappointment of Vettaiyan, here’s some good news for Superstar Rajinikanth fans. Jailer 2 is all set to be officially announced soon on a very special date. This Nelson Dilipkumar’s action thriller sequel will be officially announced on Rajinikanth’s birthday on December 12th.

The script work is completed and the cast has also been finalized. Now all we need to do is wait for the official announcement of the same in 2 weeks. The Jailer 2 team has decided to announce the project with a promo. This special promo will be shot this weekend.

The movie is one of the most anticipated Kollywood films and some very big names will be a part of the starcast. Jailer was a huge Blockbuster and a comeback film for Rajinikanth. It collected more than 620 Cr gross worldwide. Because of this stupendous success, massive expectations are set for its sequel.

This is why they are extra careful about who they work with and how their films are being promoted among various other factors. Suriya, on the other hand, has been lacking in this aspect compared to his contemporaries and has made many bad decisions continuously.

As he confessed recently, it started with a missed chance to work with Rajamouli. This was followed by the decision to release his recent good films like Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru /Aakasame Nee Haddura on OTT directly. Both these films would have been huge theatrical blockbusters and a solid comeback for Suriya.

This was followed by Etharkkum Thunindhavan in theatres which was a huge disaster. Post ET, he went ahead with the Siva project which turned out to be Kanguva. This period -fantasy action has emerged as the biggest failure in Kollywood history.

Suriya was in fact supported to do another movie with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru. While he liked the story, which was based on Hindi imposition, he chose not to do this film as it might impact his Bollywood pan-India project, Karna.

Now with the Kanguva debacle, Karna has been shelved and Sudha Kongara’s film has gone to Sivakarthikeyan who is in a great box-office form. These decisions from Suriya are continuously impacting his stardom.
