Meanwhile, the police have recommended the suspension of the firearm licenses for both Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu, advising the seizure of their guns. The firearms, which were licensed under the Jubilee Hills authorities, are to be confiscated.

The Actor has attended the shoot of his upcoming film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu which is in the final stage of making. Pawan Kalyan till now has actively concentrated on politics and stayed away from film proceedings. Ram Gopal Varma’s huge win over the AP Government

Tollywood Director, Ram Gopal Varma got stuck in a controversy recently. The Director was booked by Police for allegedly morphing the images of Politicians and current CM of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh few years ago. There were also attempts made by the Police to arrest the Director but it failed with him approaching the court. The Court now has granted bail for Ram Gopal Varma and with this he has won over the AP Government which desperately wanted him to see behind the bars.

The Director dealt the cases booked against him with proper legal method and secured the bail. AP Government led by Chandrababu Naidu has gone after personalities booking cases and also sending them to jail after coming into power. The Government has also thought of sending Ram Gopal Varma to the jail by all means but it didn’t happen.

The Director went against Chandrababu Naidu and made political satire films as well during his previous tenure as Chief Minister. He continued it later with films Vyooham and Shapadham which were also aimed at the Politican.

Now, with Chandrababu Naidu becoming the Chief Minister, he took no time in using the Police against the Director. But Ram Gopal Varma is well equipped in this segment and made sure again that no one could beat him in legal affairs. This is really a huge win for Ram Gopal Varma over the Government. We need to also see how he would react to the judgement of the court.

Zebra OTT streaming date and release partner

Zebra starring Satya Dev released in November last month and received decent word of mouth. But due to low pre-release hype and buzz, the film didn’t perform well at the box office and ended up as an average venture overall. Now, Zebra is slated for its OTT streaming and the details are provided below.

Zebra’s digital rights are said to be sold for Aha Video in both Telugu and Tamil languages. It will also be streaming from the 20th of December. Many audience who missed the film watching in the theatres can now have a glimpse on the OTT space. Two other releases, Mechanic Rocky and Devaki Nandana Vasudeva too released alongwith Zebra. But these films became big disasters.

Vishwas Sen pinned high hopes on Mechanic Rocky but it didn’t provide him any relief continuing his dull phase. On the other hand, Ashok Galla too met the audience with this Devaki Nandana Vasudeva after his debut film, Hero but the result was the same.

Akhanda 2 begins filming

Akhanda, the film of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu was a blockbuster grossing more than 100 crores worldwide. The film also gave a big relief to Balakrishna who was suffering was reeling with back to back disasters. The team has also planned a sequel which had the pooja ceremony done recently. The sequel is also titled Akhanda Thandavam. Now, Akhanda 2 has begun the filming process officially.

The shoot will start from tomorrow i.e., 11th December in Ramoji Film City and the film is planned to release for the Dussehra season of 2025. On the other hand, Balakrishna’s other film, Daaku Maharaaj is aiming for Sankranthi season next year. The film is also in the post production stage.

Akhanda 2 is the biggest venture in Balakrishna’s career and the combination of the film also justifies it. The film will also be released as a Pan India release due to the popularity of Akhanda.

Pushpa 2: The Rule Tamil Nadu 5 days Box Office Collections are here. It is widely known that Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s most awaited sequel, Pushpa 2, was released in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2024. The film registered a stunning opening at the box office and created a world record for Indian Cinema.

The North Indian market is hugely boosting the numbers for the film while it is considerably less in its own market, Telugu states. After getting a good day 1 number, the action drama saw a huge drop in the Kerala collections, while the film is still holding well in Tamil Nadu

Pushpa 2 Telugu version is underperforming in America. From the beginning stage itself, somehow Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is underperforming in America. The film was expected to break all records with the premiers, but it failed to beat Kalki’s opening. Even after that, with a strong performance from the Hindi version, the overall number looks good, but if we see only the Telugu version, the numbers are not that huge.

For the weekend the Telugu version collected $6.23M and on Monday it fell to $100K so there is no chance for the Telugu version to go in the $10M range. Looking at the trend, it even may end up in the range of 8M at max whereas the Kalki has collected closer to 13M in only the Telugu version in America. Pushpa 2 Telugu version is underperforming in America.

The plus point for pushpa2 is strong Hindi performance. Overall, for 5 days in North America, all versions’ gross is closer to 10M, and breakeven is valued at another 5M, The Hindi version only will pull the numbers now from here.
