Sandhya Theatre is in big trouble. The unfortunate death of a woman named Revathi at the theatre’s premises led to a deep legal issue for the management. Earlier, the Hyderabad police issued a ‘show cause’ notice to the management of Sandhya Theatre asking why the ‘cinematography license’ issued to the theatre should not be canceled. The police mentioned the mistakes that led to the stampede on December 4 night, during the premiere show of Pushpa – 2, movie. Sandhya Theatre is in big trouble now because of this issue.
A two-page notice was issued by the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, C V Anand, in which the police pointed out several alleged errors from the theater management including the absence of women security personnel, no frisking, and improper security arrangements. A copy of the notice was pasted at the premises of the theatre as well.
The police also pointed out that the management allowed the fans of Allu Arjun to gather at the theatre and put up large flexi. The police asked the management to reply to the notice within ten days of receiving it, and their license would be canceled in case they found the response to be unsatisfactory.
Kollywood Actor Ajith’s upcoming film, Vidaamuyarchi is in the final stage of shoot. The same has been confirmed by the makers now releasing the shoot images consisting of the lead pair. Ajith was seen in a stylish black suit alongwith Trisha. The images have gone viral now on social media platforms to netizens’ excitement.
Vidaamuyarchi has also been confirmed to release during the Sankranthi season next year. The team is working hard to finish the shoot part so as to gear up for the post production works. The teaser of the film was also released recently which evoked a mixed response from the fans and audience. The film has also stuck in a controversy of plagiarism accusations of Hollywood film, Breakdown.
The makers so far haven’t confirmed about the film being a remake of Breakdown. We need to wait and see regarding this issue. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film is produced by Lyca Productions with Music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Vidaamuyarchi is an action thriller filled with many breath taking stunt sequences.
After the blockbuster success of Hanuman, Prasanth Varma was all set to make another landmark project marking the debut of Nandamuri Mokshagna. The announcement created great hype leaving Nandamuri fans massively excited.
Unfortunately, the project took quite a dramatic turn even before going on sets. There have been strong rumours that the movie was shelved due to some unknown reasons. Balakrishna on the other hand stated that it was just postponed due to Mokshagna’s health issues.
But now the news of the film being shelved is emerging out of closer circles of Prasanth Varma as well as Balakrishna. The senior star is already in talks with other directors like Venky Atluri, and Nag Ashwin among others for his son’s launch in Tollywood.
Coming to Prasanth Varma, we need to see what the young director does now. Jai Hanuman is confirmed but it will take time to go on sets as Rishabh Shetty is busy with Kantara 2. Whether Prasanth Varma waits or goes on to some other project still needs to be seen.
Allu Arjun’s Bail is experiencing multiple hurdles. The Hyderabad police approached the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of Allu Arjun’s interim bail in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The High Court had earlier granted bail during quash petition hearings.
According to media reports, the police have submitted a letter to the prosecution and Additional Advocate General (AAG), stating that the management of Sandhya Theatre was told not to allow Allu Arjun and actress Rashmika Mandanna into the theatre during the screening of Pushpa 2’s benefit show, keeping in mind the security challenges. Because of this, Allu Arjun’s Bail is experiencing multiple hurdles.

Also, it is being said that they issued a show cause notice on the Sandhya Theatre license. Reportedly, they sent the notices seeking an answer as to why the theater’s license should not be canceled.

Kollywood Actor Siva Karthikeyan who is riding high with the recent success of his blockbuster, Amaran is gearing up for his film directed by Sudha Kongara. Pushpa 2 Tamil Nadu’s box office performance is no match for Baahubali 2 and KGF 2. The latest pan-Indian blockbuster Pushpa 2 has collected 66.5 Cr gross in 12 days in Tamil Nadu and is set for an 80 Cr finish which is a good number but compared to the other hyped sequels Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 it fell short.

Pushpa 2 achieved a non-RRR record as it is the only movie to collect 50 Cr Gross apart from Rajamouli’s movies.
