Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas – Shankar’s unfulfilled directorial dreams

Kollywood Director Shankar holds a special place in the hearts of Tollywood fans and Audience. The Director’s all previous films became major hits in Telugu version bringing him a great recognition here as well. But the Director couldn’t direct a direct Telugu film until his recent film, Game Changer. Shankar has now dicussed his unfulfilled films with few of Tollywood Actors in the past.

Shankar, in the pre-release of Game Changer happened yesterday spoke about planning films with Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas once which didn’t materialise for various reasons. He said that he has been trying to make a film with Chiranjeevi for the past 15 years and also revealed that he tried planning a film with Prabhas in the Corona period which didn’t see the light.

Shankar also stated that he considered directing Mahesh Babu as well. But all these three trials went unfulfilled and now he has atlast directed Game Changer starring Ram Charan. He also expressed his happiness over this and showed confidence about the result of the film as well. He also praised the screen presence and performance of Ram Charan in the film.

Allu Arjun’s condition delays crucial update of Allu Aravind’s Thandel

Producer Allu Aravind’s latest film, Thandel suffered a delay in the release of its Second song, Namo Namah Shivaya (Shiva Shakti) due to the condition of his son and Actor Allu Arjun. The Actor has recently stuck in a controversy of a stampede accident during his Pushpa 2 premiere show which also saw him jailed by the Telangana Government. The team especially Allu Aravind are currently occupied in dealing with the case against Allu Arjun which has caused the delay of the song from Thandel.

The song has been expected to get huge promotion for the film since it featured a dance sequence containing female lead of the film, Sai Pallavi who is known for her dance skills. The team also expressed confidence about the song depicting it as a major asset of the film. The song was also planned to be released today but it has to be postponed unfortunately amid the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun which indirectly affects Thandel, the film from his home production, Geetha Arts.

The song will make it on YouTube only in the month of January with the release nearing after a month from then. So, let’s wait for the team to come out with the further update regarding the song.

Allu Arjun’s arrest is not right: Purandeswari

Noted Politician and daughter of Veteran Actor NTR, Daggubati Purandeswari expressed her dissastisfaction with the recent arrest episode of Allu Arjun. She felt that Allu Arjun was not solely responsible for the stampede accident that claimed the life of a lady and the hospitalisation of her son. She also found fault in the arrest of Allu Arjun being an A-11 person in the case.

Purandeswari also said that Allu Arjun went to the theatre to watch the film as an Actor but not to cause any accident to anyone. She also pointed out how Allu Arjun came forward in pledging to support the family. This way, she criticised the comments made by Revanth Reddy yesterday against Allu Arjun openly in the Assembly accusing the Actor for being irresponsible.

Allu Arjun has also convened a press meet yesterday debarring the allegations levelled against him by the CM and others as not being responsible in the matter. He said that he would stand by the family at his level best.

Sukumar’s review of Game Changer

Director Sukumar delivered a good news for the fans and audience of Ram Charan. The Actror’s upcoming film, Game Changer is scheduled for release on 10th January next year. Now, the film’s pre-release event happened on a grand note in USA which was attended by the team alongwith Sukumar. The Director has also reviewed Game Changer wherein he quoted the film to be a blockbuster.

Sukumar shared that he watched the film with Chiranjeevi. He mentioned that the first half is awesome, the interval is a blockbuster moment, and the flashback portions in the second half are phenomenal and give goosebumps. He expressed how he enjoyed the film by comparing Game Changer to Gentleman and Bharateeyudu.

He also praised Ram Charan’s emotional performance in the climax, stating that it is worthy of a national award. These comments from Sukumar are a big boost for the film, which is already carrying positive reports. With Sukumar’s endorsement, it seems the team is all set to deliver a massive blockbuster.

Ram Charan during his speech said that the film would satisfy the fans of Shankar and also expressed his confidence of becoming the best film in the recent times. Salaar was not enough, but Salaar 2 will be my best: Prashanth Neel

Prashanth Neel rose to fame with his KGF series which became a big blockbuster in the country. He amped up the game again with Salaar starring Prabhas which too became a big success. But Prashanth Neel feels that Salaar was not enough interms of satisfaction as told by him in a recent interview. He assured that Salaar 2 will be his best work.

Neel also said that he was a little disappointed with the theatrical output of Salaar but he didn’t get into deep details. He, however, said that he has put his best writing for Salaar 2 which is in the planning stage now. The Director also expressed confidence that it is going to be more than what the audience could imagine declaring it as his finest work yet. Neel also stated that he was determined to make it unforgettable experience.

These comments are really promising and many expect the film to be bigger in terms of making and span. Going by his words, it is evident that plan is on to make it a big blockbuster than KGF Chapter 2. Prabhas is currently busy with his other committed films before he will make himself concentrated on this Salaar 2.

NTR – Neel’s film is a periodic film. It is widely known that NTR, who scored a blockbuster with his latest film, Devara, already announced a film with Prashant Neel, the director of KGF Series and Salaar. The film was announced long back but the shooting did not start due to various reason.

In his latest interview, Prashanth Neel confirms that his film with NTR is set against a periodic backdrop. The movie’s shoot is expected to start mid-January 2025, and the release date has been already announced for 2026 Sankranthi, but it might get delayed as shooting schedule was delayed. Viduthalai 2: 4 Hours runtime on OTT

Viduthalai 2 will have 4 hours of runtime on OTT. Vetrimaaran’s action drama, Viduthalai 2 was released in theaters worldwide this weekend and got a good response at the theaters. The film was censored with a 172-minute runtime. But at the last minute, Vetrimaaran trimmed 8 minutes, which worked well for the film and it is doing well at the weekend in Tamil territories.

Vetrimaaran revealed in an interview that additional one-hour footage will be released on OTT, and the directors’ cut extended version will be released around four hours later. So, Viduthalai 2 will have 4 hours of runtime on OTT. 

Vetrimaaran also confirmed in an interview that he is not ready for another intense journey right now when asked about Viduthalai 3. So his next will be with Suriya, the much-awaited Vaadi Vaasal.

Game Changer audio now looks promising. The first two songs, Jaragandi, and Ra Macha Macha failed to match Shankar’s range, but Dil Raju said that the Jaragandi song would work visually. The next two songs Naa Naa Hyraanaa and now Dhop song are excellent and Shankar’s mark is visible in the songs. The next step for Game Changer is the trailer and if that clicks, then the film will have a good pre-release hype.

Game Changer TN Rights Fetch Good Price. After a global blockbuster like RRR, Ram Charan has teamed up with renowned director Shankar for his upcoming film, Game Changer. As the film is made by Tamil Star Director, trade expected the film to do a good business in Tamil Nadu.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action thriller Coolie.
