Discussing ticket pricing, he stated that Movie ticket prices are entirely based on demand and supply. The budgets of Telugu films have increased, so ticket prices need to be higher. Every rupee earned from a movie attracts an 18% tax.Politics should not be mixed with cinema.We don’t like heroes coming forward for movie ticket issues. Producers and unions are enough to discuss on ticket hike permissions;

Pawan Kalyan also stated that Andhra Pradesh will support cinema in every possible way. “For us, everyone is equal. Even those who do not belong to our party will receive hikes based on their needs. The government of Andhra has given permission for additional shows and ticket hikes for the film. Game Changer will have a Flat Rs 600 Ticket for a 1 AM Show. The ticket price for regular shows will be 135 for Single Screens, while for Multiplex screens, it will be 175 for 2 weeks. So, the ticket price for multiplex theaters will be Rs 352, and the ticket price for single screens will be Rs 282 for 2 weeks.

We are days away from Game Changer’s release and the recently released trailer has given us more insights into what to expect from this entertainer with a backdrop of politics. Ram Charan will be playing dual roles in this film with SJ Suryah returning to the antagonist role after a super successful 2024.

Coming to breakeven mark, the Telugu version has to collect around 165 Cr share for breakeven while worldwide for all languages, the film has to collect 450 Cr gross. Films like Salaar, Baahubali, Baahubali 2, Kalki2898AD, RRR, Pushpa 2 have collected more than 450 Cr from Tollywood and Game Changer needs to join this club.

The film has all possibilities to join 500 Cr club if it gets positive word of mouth considering its a Sankranti release and Ram Charan’s solo project after 3 years. The film is particularly crucial for Dil Raju. It needs to do much more as the budget crossed the expected numbers. If the Game Changer collects more than 550 Cr worldwide then those returns will put Dil Raju in profits.

Highest Pre-release business- Pushpa 2 : Pushpa 2 did a massive business worldwide. The total Telugu state business was Rs 194 crores and the film needed to collect 200 Cr in just Telugu states to attain a hit status. Only RRR and Baahubali have managed the kind of run.

Highest opening- Pushpa 2– Pushpa 2 posted an all time record opening in Nizam, UA and Krishna territories. The film collected Rs 106.83 Cr worldwide for Telugu version The film became the second film after RRR to collect Rs 100 crores in Telugu on opening day.

Highest 1st Week – Pushpa 2– Another record the Allu Arjun starrer created was recording highest 1st week collection in Telugu. Pushpa 2 had a record-breaking weekend in Hindi, and a good one in Telugu, Tamil, and Karnataka. Kerala was the only market which disappointed.

Highest grosser- Kalki 2898 AD– Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas became a box office blockbuster after the release this year. The film did very good numbers in all the territories and collected more than Rs 500 crores gross in Telugu

Highest share- Pushpa 2 – Adding another feather to its cap, this Sukumar film starring Allu Arjun created wonders at the box office and became the achieved the highest share collected in 2024 with around Rs 295 crores.

Most profitable film- Hanuman– The biggest hit of the year in terms of return on investment was the Teja Sajja starrer Hanuman. The film was released for Sankranti. Not only did it become the eighth highest-grossing Telugu film ever, but it also smashed records overseas, becoming the fifth-highest-grossing Tollywood film ever outside India. The movie ended its run with Rs 294 crores gross worldwide.
