PVR INOX CEO thanks Pushpa 2 team for supporting Theatrical run

Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun became a box office blockbuster grossing more than 1600 crores worldwide. The film’s performance in the Hindi Belt was also a sensation grossing more than 800 crores there itself. Now, impressed by the film’s performance, the CEO of PVR INOX, Kamal Gianchandani has thanked the team of Pushpa 2 for supporting the theatrical run going on with an 8-week theatrical window.

Kamal said that the Production House, Mythri Movie Makers, and the team of Pushpa 2 opted for 8 weeks enabling a long theatrical run. He also urged other producers, artists, and filmmakers across the country to respect this theatrical run requesting an 8-week theatrical window.

Pushpa 2 is still running in a few theatres across the country and is also set for the screening of a reloaded version in the theatres on January 17th. This is also expected to add a few more numbers for the film.

Jailer 2 Announcement in theatres

Blockbuster Jailer is all set for its sequel, Jailer 2 announcement. The team has reportedly done a promo shoot for the announcement. The announcement was initially planned for the birthday of Rajinikanth but got postponed due to the pending work. It is learned that the update will be arriving on Sankranthi Day in the theatres.

The Production house of the film, Sun Pictures has confirmed this as well. The announcement Teaser of Jailer 2 will be screened in a few select theatres on January 14 at 6 PM. The Telugu and Hindi Teasers will also be out on YouTube at the same time. The film is said to be going on sets in March this year and the target for release will be for Summer, 2026.

There are huge expectations on the film with the blockbuster success of Jailer. The film became a sensation grossing more than 600 crores worldwide bringing a big relief to Rajinikanth.

కథ :

ఒక సివిల్ ఇంజనీర్ అయిన సీతారాం అనే వ్యక్తి జీవితంలో జరిగే కొన్ని అనుకోని ఘటనలు, అనంతరం అతడు నానాజీ, డాకు మహారాజ్ గా ఎలా మారాడు అనేది తెలిపే కథగా ముందుకు సాగుతుంది.

పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ లు :

ముందుగా డాకు మహారాజ్ గా అలానే నానాజీ, సీతారాం ఇలా మూడు పాత్రల్లో కూడా ఆకట్టుకునే నటనతో మరొక్కసారి ఆడియన్స్ ని మెప్పించారు నటసింహం నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ. ఇక డాకు మహారాజ్ గా ఆయన పవర్ఫుల్ పెర్ఫార్మన్స్, పలికిన డైలాగ్స్, యాక్షన్ సీన్స్ ఆడియన్స్ తో పాటు ఫ్యాన్స్ ని కూడా విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకుంటాయి.

హీరోయిన్ గా నటించిన ప్రగ్యా జైస్వా, ఇతర పాత్రల్లో నటించిన శ్రద్ధ శ్రీనాథ్, ఊర్వశి అందరూ కూడా తమ పాత్రల యొక్క పరిధి మేరకు ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. నటుడు బాబీ డియోల్ పాత్ర బాగుంది. అతడు కూడా ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. సచిన్ ఖేడేకర్, మకరంద్ ల నటన కూడా అలరిస్తుంది.

ఇక డాకు మహారాజ్ మూవీ కథనం మొదటి నుండి కూడా పవర్ఫుల్ అంశాలతో సాగుతుంది. ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ మొత్తం కూడా స్టైలిష్ యాక్షన్ ఎంగేజింగ్ అంశాలతో నడుస్తూ పవర్ఫుల్ ఇంటర్వ్యూల్ ఎపిసోడ్ తో మరింతగా సెకండ్ హాఫ్ పై ఇంట్రెస్ట్ ఏర్పరుస్తుంది.

బాలకృష్ణ పవర్ఫుల్ పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ ఈ మూవీకి ప్రధాన హైలైట్. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో వచ్చే డాకు మహారాజ్ పాత్ర చిన్నదే అయినప్పటికీ కూడా అది ఆడియన్స్ ఓ మంచి ఇంపాక్ట్ ఏర్పరుస్తుంది. రెగ్యులర్ ఫార్మాట్ లో సాగినప్పటికీ కూడా దానిని ఫ్యాన్స్ కి ఆడియన్స్ కి కనెక్ట్ చేసేలా దర్శకుడు బాబీ చిత్రీకరించారు.

Is Game Changer Over-edited?

Is Game Changer over-edited? This is the question that is bothering the movie lovers and audiences. It is widely known that Shankar and Ram Charan’s Political Action Drama, Game Changer was released in theaters worldwide this Friday. Normally Shankar’s films have a runtime of 3 hours, and a few films have even more length.

Especially his political subjects always have very lengthy runtimes, but somehow, Shankar continuously mentioned before the release of Game Changer that today’s audiences want racy screenplay without a boring moment and announced that the film will have a crispy runtime of 165 Minutes.

However, after seeing the film everyone felt like there were many scenes that were not connected well and ended abruptly. Even some scenes were chopped off and they did not have any link to the following scenes. The film has a lot of character artists and Ram Charan’s backstory, Flashback portions, and crucial emotional scenes which were not explored to the fullest extent. That is why people opine that Game Changer was over-edited.

It is clear that Shankar seems to have made with wrong judgment and there was a lot of shooting footage that was trimmed during the final cut. So, this misjudgment in the editing is also one of the main reasons for Game Changer’s below-par word of mouth and reviews as audiences did not connect to the film’s story.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is trending strongly in bookings

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is trending strongly in bookings. The family entertainer starring Venkatesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi became successful in creating a good buzz around it. Even with two days left for the film’s release and facing competition with films like Game Changer, and Daaku Maharaaj, the advance bookings for Sankranthiki Vasthunam are excellent on Book My Show with around 10K tickets per hour.

In Hyderabad, the bookings gross has already crossed 1.5 Cr. The film registered 50% occupancy as of now and is set for a massive opening at the box office. In Andhra Pradesh also, the movie is already seeing fast-filling and sold-out shows. If the film opens with positive word of mouth, then definitely there will be huge demand for the tickets. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is trending strongly in bookings.

Anil Ravipudi – Venkatesh combo is doing big magic on audiences and as said above, if the film gets a positive response, then certainly, the success of their previous film, F2 will repeat

Ajith won 3rd place in racing, the Dubai 24H Series. Ajith Kumar, the Tamil star actor is also known for his passion for racing cars. A few days ago, the actor took part in the Dubai 24H Series and faced an accident caused by a brake malfunction. The accident happened during the practice session, and even after this, the actor continued to participate in the race, emerging as the 3rd place in the 991 category and Spirit of the race in the gt4 category.

Daaku Maharaaj Prequel announced

Daaku Maharaaj Prequel has been announced. Balakrishan’s Daaku Maharaaj was released today in theaters worldwide and opened with positive reviews from audiences and reviewers. The film’s team conducted a press meet and said that they are extremely happy with the reviews, and they also informed us that the unit is planning a success meet this week in Anantapur.

The producer of the film, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi said there are plans for Hindi and Tamil versions of the film to be released on 17th January. When the journalists asked the team whether there were any plans for a sequel, Naga Vamsi said that they were planning a prequel for the movie. Targeted negative campaign on Game Changer?

Game Changer starring Ram Charan released on January 10th worldwide. The film received mixed word of mouth and talk. But the film was however not a bad one like Indian 2 and a few disasters in recent times. But on social media, Game Changer has seen great trolling and a negative campaign which raises doubts over a targeted campaign in place.

Game Changer has its highs and lows with flashback portions and pre-interval scenes getting good response. Few scenes, however, failed to impress the audience which ultimately attracted a below-average response. But, the reviews and talk have been spread by many that the film was unbearable to watch. This is greatly impacting the film’s collections which have already dropped hugely on Day 2.

The team of Game Changer must do some promotions by giving interviews on the festival days to boost the collections with family audiences. But it looks like the team is silent and there are also no promos of these interviews which is shocking. It needs to be seen if the film comes out of this negativity and becomes a hit. But the indications are not good.

A case has been filed on Tollywood Actor Venkatesh and his brother Producer Suresh Babu today. A person named Nandakumar approached the Nampally Court alleging that the Tollywood personalities had allegedly trespassed and grabbed his property located at Jubilee Hills.

The case has been filed under 448, 452, 458 r/w 120 B of IPC. The police will also be investigating the case following the court’s order. This is really very interesting for Tollywood celebrities to face legal cases in recent times. Nagarjuna too faced the same situation with the Telangana Government demolishing his N Convention center followed by Allu Arjun who was even jailed for a stampede incident during his Pushpa 2 premiere.
