Barroz 3D OTT Streaming Details are out now

Barroz 3D OTT Streaming Details are out now. Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal’s first ever directional film, Barroz 3D was made on a massive budget.

Though the film had big expectations, but failed badly at the box office and faced heavy losses. The movie’s all languages’ digital rights bought by Disney Plus Hotstar, and it will be available for streaming from 24th January. Barroz 3D OTT Streaming Details are out now. As it is a fantasy film and has Mohan Lal as the lead, it is expected to work well on OTT.

Barroz, which Mohanlal directed and stars in, narrates the tale of a devoted lieutenant serving the Da Gama kings of Portugal. In the year 1663, Barroz takes on a significant responsibility given by the king: to guard a treasure and ensure its transfer exclusively to a descendant of Da Gama. The rest of the story is how Barroz fulfills his duty, waiting for over 400 years.

Kalavoor Ravikumar wrote the dialogues for the film. The film’s plot is based on Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure, written by Jijo Punnoose.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam sets all-time record at the box office. The latest family entertainer of Venkatesh and Anil RaviPudi, Sankrnathiki Vasthunnam had a terrific Sunday [6th day] at the box office with huge collections.

The film registered better numbers than opening day in many stations today. Also, it became the first film to collect a double-digit share in Telugu states on the 6th day. The early estimates of today’s numbers are around 14 Cr including GST in Telugu states, which is a massive number. Trade is eager to know how Sankranthiki Vasthunam will perform from tomorrow.

On the 6th day, the film crosses the 100 Cr milestone at the box office as well, and becomes Venkatesh’s career 1st 100 Cr film. Sankranthiki Vasthunam sets all-time record at the box office.

Venkatesh becomes 2nd senior hero in 100 crore share club

Baahubali 2 became the first Tollywood film to enter into the 100 crores share club. Chiranjeevi later made entry into the club with his comeback film Khaidi no 150 followed by other Actors. But in the senior hero category, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh still hadn’t joined the club whereas Chiranjeevi scored 3 100 crore share films in this meantime. Now, Venkatesh has finally become the 2nd senior hero to join the 100 crore share club with his Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

Venkatesh also becomes the 8th Tollywood hero to enter the club. His Sankranthiki Vasthunam is doing a rampage at the box office with stunning collections. The film has already crossed the 150 crore gross and is racing towards the 200 crore gross mark worldwide. The trade is stunned to witness this superior performance of the film.

Gautham Menon said that the discussion had just started and also quoted the story as very interesting which will take the film forward later. It is really interesting to see Gautam Menon doing a film with a story written by Vetrimaaran. Currently, the Director is busy with his long-delayed project, Dhruva Natchathiram starring Vikram.

Also, recently when an anchor asked Urvashi about the attack on Saif Ali Khan, she surprisingly talked about Daaku Maharaaj’s blockbuster success by mentioning some box office numbers. Many called out her behavior and said it was dumb and mean from her side.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam Sequel is confirmed. It is widely known that Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam has been going on a rampage at the box office since its release and today, the film is joining the 100 Cr share club.

Even with the film running successfully in the theaters, the unit is aggressively promoting it and in a recent interview, Director Anil Ravipudi revealed that they have sequel plans. He also confirmed the title “Malli Sankranthiki Vastunam”. The fans of Venky Mama will be delighted to know that the Sankranthiki Vasthunam Sequel is confirmed.

If we observe the ending of Sankranthiki Vastunam, there is a funny twist for Meenakshi Chaudhary’s character and the scene hints that Venkatesh will once again face problems by getting stuck between his wife and ex-lover. So, if at all Ravipudi makes a film on this theme, he will have another winner in his hands.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam: A costly miss for Prime Video and Netflix

Two of the leading OTT Giants, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix paid no interest in Sankranthiki Vasthunam among this year’s Sankranthi releases. The OTTs, however, chose Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj which became a costly miss. The other OTT platform, Zee5 hit a jackpot in securing both OTT and satellite rights of Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

Game Changer initially had a great amount of hype and expectations and Daaku Maharaaj too was riding with the mass enigma of Balakrishna. Sankranthiki Vasthunam had the least hype which prompted both the OTTs to go for the other two films. But this has been proved wrong with the earth-shattering response of Sankranthiki Vasthunam which is minting huge money at the box office. The film is also heading towards the 100 crore share mark.

Zee5 bought the deal at the last minute which now became a reason for joy for the OTT platform. On the other hand, February 2nd week will see the streaming of Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, Sankranthiki Vasthunam’s streaming date is yet to come out.

Sankranthi films box office report till 18th January

Sankranthi releases have performed at full strength generating huge revenue at the box office. Among the three releases, Sankranthiki Vasthunam topped the run bringing in huge level of audiences to the theatres. Their box office report till yesterday i.e., 18th January is as below:

Sankranthiki Vasthunam, as said stunned all with its sensational run with nearly 84 crores share followed by Game Changer with 83.4 crores. Another positive reviewed film, Daaku Maharaaj put almost 73 crores share at the box office. While it became clear that Sankranthiki Vasthunam will very well touch the 100 crore share mark, Daaku Maharaaj’s fate is still doubtful in reaching the 100 crore share mark.

Daaku Maharaaj is expected to beat Game Changer’s share in the full run but it has to be seen if it touches at least the 90 crores share mark. Either way, it becomes Balakrishna’s highest share generator film beating his previous record held by Veera Simha Reddy.

Game Changer, however, stumbled and is heading towards a big disaster for both Ram Charan and Shankar. It may end up below 90 crore share mark.

Anchor Suma signs a new film

Anchor Suma is set to make a film appearance again. The Anchor who acted in the lead role of Jayamma Panchayathi in 2022 will return for a new film titled Premante. This film will be presented jointly by Actor Rana Daggubati and Asian Group’s SVCLLP. The shoot of the film will also begin soon.

Directed by Navaneeth, Premante is said to be a love story featuring Priyadarshi and Anandi in the lead roles with Suma portraying a key role. Tamil Music Director, Leon James will compose the tunes for the film. The release date of the film is not yet announced but the film may see a release sometime this year.

Produced by Jhanvi Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, Premante is surely to become another impressing performance from Suma. She earlier received a good response for her portrayal of Jayamma in Jayamma Panchayathi. The details of her character in this new film are not yet known but let’s wait for the Anchor to offer us something new.

Paatal Lok Season 2 Review: Precisely Done Investigative Drama

Paatal Lok Season is one of the most loved series on Prime Video. This weekend, the second season of this series has been brought by the OTT giant, much to the delight of the viewers. Let’s look whether the makers of the web series are able to match the expectations or not.

Story:

In the second season of Paatal Lok, Hathi Ram Chaudhary returns to conduct another investigation in a state rife with political turmoil. This time, he must investigate the murder of Thom, the influential founder of the Nagaland Democratic Forum. At the same time, Raghu Paswan, a worker, disappears, prompting his wife to lodge a complaint. What similarities might these two apparently unrelated cases share? As the plot develops, Hathi Ram explores the murky and multifaceted domain of crime, discovering that the truth is not as clear-cut as it may seem.

Performances:

Jaideep Ahlawat delivers a terrific performance as Hathiram Chaudhary and continues the good work from season 1. Ishwak Singh also gave an effective performance as ACP Ansari. Tilottama Shome was perfect, while Nagesh Kukunoor, Gul Panag, and Anurag Arora were apt. All the actors who played the characters of Nagaland people were effective.

Analysis:

When a much-awaited series such as Paatal Lok takes four years to come back, people naturally have high expectations, and the creators of Paatal Lok fulfill those expectations. The season changes the backdrop to Nagaland this time, intertwining two distinct events: the murder of a political figure and the disappearance of a laborer. The storytelling is mostly spot-on, with just a few minor issues, and the concluding moments elevate the experience with a clean and straightforward approach. One might feel that a big surprise or twist is missing but it is not a big issue.

Paatal Lok 2 Web Series Review and Verdict:

Paatal Lok Season 2 is a precisely done Investigative Drama with effective performances, and near-perfect narration working well for it. Though it has some dull parts in between, the show manages to hold the interest from start to end.
