Vidaamuyarchi Story Synopsis

Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi is set to release on 6th February worldwide, and the recently released trailer has increased the film’s buzz tremendously. Magizh Thirumeni directed the action-packed project, which features exciting stunts at breathtaking locations.

Vidaamuyarchi is a story of a devoted husband who shares a deep connection with his wife, Kayal. Their relationship begins to fall apart due to continuous issues. Kayal gets captured by a notorious group in Azerbaijan, which leads to the husband going on a mission to rescue her. The film is said to be an adaptation of Hollywood film Breakdown and is said to have a runtime of 150 minutes.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra and Aarav in key roles. Anirudh has composed the music for this action thriller which promises some stylish power packed chases and action sequences shot on a grand scale.

Malayalam Actor and Jailer fame, Vinayakan repeated his misbehavior. The Actor once created a ruckus at Hyderabad Airport manhandling a CISF personnel for which he was jailed for a short period. He later got into an argument with a street vendor in Goa which also became viral on social media.

Now, The Actor yesterday was seen hurling abuses at his neighbors on the balcony of his flat. He also posed in an obscene manner teasing them which was recorded by one of his neighbors. This seems to be very distasteful from the Actor and the reason behind his repeated actions is also not known.

However, the Actor has also apologized for his inappropriate behavior with his neighbors today. The Actor on his official Facebook Account said, “As a film actor and as a person, I am unable to handle many things. I apologize to the public for all the negative energy that has come from my side. Rashmika Mandanna first look from Chhaava released

Story:

Set in Thrissur City, Pani, the film is all about two inexperienced and remorseless criminals disturbing the life of a man who is part of a powerful mafia syndicate.

Performances:

Joju George gave a convincing performance and while his character has a subtle touch in the first half, it garners a beast mode as the second half progresses. Abhinaya does a perfect job and makes the emotional aspect work for her character. Seema makes her presence felt despite appearing for a brief portion, while Sagar Surya, V.P.Junaiz, Prashanth Alexander, Bobby Kurian, Sujith Sankar, Abhaya Hiranmayi, and Chandini Sreedharan are fine.

Analysis:

While Pani may look like an ordinary revenge story on the surface, its exploration of the unpredictable behavior of the antagonists is what truly drives the film. No stronghold appears safe, and no one is too powerful to be taken down. It looks like they understand this dynamic since one of the villain characters points out to the other that they can see the big family and their syndicate while being too small to catch attention. The length is perfect for this genre, and story. The screenplay is standard without many surprises, but it has some good highs in the second half, including a satisfying climax.

Pani Movie Review and Verdict:

Pani Movie is a routine revenge thriller. The performances of Joju George, Abhinaya, and the action/revenge parts in the second half work well, while the predictable story and dull feel work against it. It is a watchable flick if not for the regular traits.

Vidudala 2 fails to impress the Telugu OTT Viewers. Director Vetrimaaran has certainly a very good brand in Telugu audiences, but those audiences are not coming to the theatres to watch his film and are sticking to watching them on OTT only. The same thing happened for his latest release Vidudala 2(Viduthalai 2) as the film failed to bring minimum audiences to the theaters.

The movie started streaming on Prime Video from a few days and the Telugu people who have watched the film on the popular platform did not like the film much compared to the previous films of Vetrimaaran, most of the people opined that the film does not have any proper Vetrimaaran mark scene, and they felt it was a bit dragging and lengthy too. Vidudala 2 fails to impress the Telugu OTT Viewers.

Even in Tamil also, the film failed to impress audiences and ended up as below average grosser at the box office and received a mixed response on OTT release as well. Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran shifts his focus to VaadiVaasal, starring Suriya and this might work with Telugu audiences if it comes with good buzz as Suriya, is the lead.
