Thalapathy Vijay fans wait is over. It is widely known that Tamil Star Actor Vijay is working on his 69th film, which will be his last one. Today, on the occasion of Republic Day, the film’s first look has been released. The film’s title is Jana Nayagan. 

Vijay is undoubtedly the last promising big star in Kollywood, all his films pull big box office numbers, and the main reason for this is, that all his films pack all the commercial elements So, even though there might be some complaints about content, Vijay’s stardom pulls the numbers with the help of commercial packaging. 

As Vijay is entering politics, he announced Thalapathy 69 as his last film, The First Look released today on the occasion of Republic Day. Jana Nayagan’s first look is out, much to the happiness of Vijay’s fans.

A Political Spark in Jana Nayagan’s First Look

The first look poster seems to be more inclined towards Viajy’s political ambitions as Vijay is quitting movies for politics and it looks like he wants this film to deliver a political message. If it rightly blends with commercial entertainment, then it is fine but if the film has more touch of political ambitions, then the audiences may not connect well in theatres. We have seen many instances of this. Audiences come to theatres for entertainment, and Political ambitions should not dominate the film’s content.

Moreover, the film’s rights are sold at record prices, and all sections of audiences should come to the theaters like Vijay’s previous films to get a big success for buyers, Definitely, Jana Gana Nayagan is a bold risk for the buyers. As of now, the team has not mentioned the release date, but it is likely to arrive on Pongal 2026 Pongal and will not be released this year.

Thandel Records 100 Cr Business

Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel records a 100 Crore Business. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel is a big-budget project from Geetha Arts after a long time and the producer Bunny Vas said that the film’s budget is more than 90 Cr. Initially, everyone thought it was very risky for Naga Chaitanya after seeing his recent failures.

However, the movie has pulled off the budget with business and put the makers in a comfortable zone. The movie recovered more than 50% of the budget from non-theatrical rights, Especially, the digital rights bought by Netflix for a massive price for all languages. Even the theatrical business has been done for a good amount. The Telugu version alone does around 40 Cr business, and the film is getting released in all languages. Altogether the film’s business will be more than 100 Cr. Thandel records a 100 Crore Business, and it has a good chance of becoming a massive blockbuster at the box office.

The producers will be in a profit zone if the movie collects more than 100 Cr gross worldwide. With positive word of mouth, the film might even go to the 150 Cr mark if it works like Karthikeya 2 in Hindi. The film is certainly carrying good buzz in Telugu, but in other languages, the team needs to do more promotions to create the required buzz.

Devi Sri Prasad’s Music is Big Plus for Thandel Movie:

Up to now, all three songs released from Thandel have worked well, the latest song Hilesso Hilessa is now trending on YouTube. The film’s trailer will be released on 28th January, this will play a crucial role in film openings. “I remember being absolutely shocked ki how did Laxman sir even think of giving me a role like this to play. I think I just surrendered because as Vicky said, I have no reference. It’s a story, and there are such majestical impactful characters and personalities, how do you play them? I think for me, specifically I just surrendered, and dived into what Laxman sir wanted. There was of course a lot of rehearsals and practice in terms of language and everything but it’s just the trust you have on the team because you know that if someone has to pull this off you just should not have any sort of baggage of yourself. You just have to come here and say, ‘Sir I am all in, whatever you ask for, I’m here to deliver’ and that’s what you’ve seen on screen today.”

Chaava Plot Details:

Chhaava tells the story of Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal while Rashmika Mandanna will be seen playing the role of Maharani Yesubai. The film’s trailer was recently released and audiences immensely liked it. They were impressed the other day seeing Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of Aurangzeb.

Dil Raju addresses fake box office posters

Tollywood Producer Dil Raju faced IT raids for nearly 4 days. The Producer today clarified about the IT raids later in a press meet telling that everything was clean from his side. The Producer, however, opined that the film Industry must contain the publicity of the revenue figures of the films on a whole.

His film, Game Changer recently released and there was a big criticism of the team for exaggerating the actual figures on the posters. The numbers were reported to be more than 100% of the actual. This also gave rise to speculation about the initiation of the IT raid against the Producer. Dil Raju has also rebuked these rumours pointing it to a practice followed by all producers in the Industry.

But, surprisingly, Dil Raju hasn’t shown his forwardness in curtailing this practice. He just addressed this as a tradition but this will only harm the film leading to brutal trolling and embarrassment on social media for fakeness which Game Changer had experienced.

Kollywood Actor Dhanush’s production, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) was originally scheduled for 7th February, but it now stands postponed to 21st February. This is because of the new scheduled release of Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi for 6th February worldwide. The team of NEEK is now considering a new release date.

Dhanush’s other film, Idly Kadai directed by himself is scheduled for 10th April, and this is also speculated to release by the end of April because of Good Bad Ugly which is arriving on the same date. Surprisingly, Ajith’s films have impacted Dhanush’s two films. On the other hand, Vidaamuyarchi is all set for release after the settlement with the Hollywood Production house Paramount Pictures.

The Trailer of the film has also been released and the hype is good. The film will also take a super opening at the box office. All the eyes will be on Good Bad Ugly then which will be a Summer Venture.

What’s surprising is the inclusion of Actors Balakrishna and Ajith for the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award.
