Laila, starring Vishwak Sen released recently, and it became an outright disaster at the box office. The film was rejected by the reviewers and audience alike, bashing the content and the vulgarity. The makers have announced the streaming of Laila on the OTT platform, but this was delayed.

Laila was initially expected to arrive on the OTT on Amazon Prime Video and Aha Video on 7th March. But it didn’t stream that day and is now arriving on 9th March i.e., today on Prime Video. Audiences who haven’t watched the film in theatres can now watch it on the OTT space. The team hopes big from the OTT response at least.

As said, the film completely disappointed the makers, and Vishwak Sen had to issue an official apology letter. He promised that he would take up good films and roles from now on and not cross the line of vulgarity.

The fans of the Avatar franchise are in for good news. James Cameron shared on Friday that the upcoming “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” set to release on Dec. 19, 2025, will be even longer than its predecessor, 2022’s “The Way Of Water.” Avatar Fire And Ash will be the longest journey, according to the filmmaker.

The second ‘Avatar’ (Avatar and the Way of Water) film had a runtime of 187 minutes. The first film released in 2009 lasted 145 minutes. Cameron didn’t worry about the runtime; he said ‘Fire and Ash’ wasn’t initially planned. In the latest Path To Pandora report from Empire, the celebrated director and writers explained why they separated the second and third films.

Cameron mentioned he divided the films because act one of movie 2 was overloaded with great ideas. “The [film] was moving like a bullet train, and we were not drilling down enough on character. So I said, ‘Guys, we’ve got to split it.’”

In Cameron’s writers’ room, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver worked alongside Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno, assigned to ‘Avatar 4’ and ‘Avatar 5’, respectively.
