Allu Arjun must control fans

0

The ongoing fan wars between Mega fans and Allu Arjun fans have reached a boiling point, particularly with the heated exchanges that began during Allu Arjun’s visit to a friend’s place during election season. This incident reportedly created a rift within the Mega family, with some family members exchanging sharp words, further fueling tensions. The escalating rivalry has now spilled over to social media and public platforms, where Allu Arjun’s fans have been crossing boundaries, especially with banners and posts targeting Mega family members, including Pawan Kalyan.

With Pushpa 2 set to release on December 5th, these tensions are intensifying. As fans go to extreme levels to show their loyalty, their actions are beginning to tarnish the image of the stars they admire. Instances of degrading other actors, particularly family members, have become a major concern. Such behavior not only disrupts harmony among fans but also risks damaging the industry’s camaraderie.

Now, the responsibility lies on Allu Arjun to address this issue. A simple video byte or an earnest message during a promotional event for Pushpa 2 could help calm tensions. By urging his fans to maintain respect for others and refrain from such acts, he could set an example of unity and professionalism.

Celebrities carry immense influence, and it’s essential they use it to foster positivity. Allu Arjun has the perfect opportunity to restore peace and send a strong message against toxic fan behavior.

Pushpa 2 to Push Ticket Prices Even Higher

0

The constant rise in movie ticket prices in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has been a noteworthy trend over the past few years. Multiplex ticket prices in Telangana increased from ₹150 to ₹410 following the release of RRR. While this spike has benefitted select pan-India blockbusters, it has also put a significant financial strain on common moviegoers and impacted the performance of several big-budget films.

One of the most awaited movies, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is expected to raise ticket costs even further. According to reports, multiplex tickets may cost up to ₹500, while single-screen tickets are estimated to cost approximately ₹300. These rates are also reflected in Andhra Pradesh, establishing a new pricing standard for large releases.

While the immense buzz surrounding Pushpa 2 might justify these rates, the concern lies in the precedent it sets. Future big-budget releases adopting similar pricing strategies may struggle to draw audiences, particularly for films lacking Pushpa 2’s hype. The audience, already burdened by inflation, could start to avoid theaters, opting for OTT platforms or waiting for satellite releases instead.

Premium pricing for high-stakes films can raise short-term revenue, but the long-term sustainability of such increases is uncertain. If this trend continues, it may alienate a significant portion of the audience, limiting the industry’s total growth.

Trade websites and analysts unanimously hailing Vijay’s stardom and box office pull

Kanguva, recent film of Kollywood Actor, Suriya bombed at the box office. The film which released amid great expectations failed to secure a positive talk and thereby panned down completely by reviewers and audience eventually. The film is also heading towards one of the biggest disasters in Kollywood and also in Suriya’s career. The Trade websites and analysts are now unanimously hailing Vijay‘s stardom and box office pull and also terming him as review, critic and mouth talk proof Actor of Kollywood amid Kanguva’s failure.

According to these trade analysts and websites, Vijay remains a rare Actor who even with a negative talk generated for his films has showcased great performance at the box office unlike Suriya or other Actors. On the other hand, Suriya with a negative talk achieved for Kanguva, which has been projected as a Pan India biggie, failed in bringing audience to the theatres.

But Vijay did this for Beast, Leo and also the recent blockbuster, The GOAT. All these films have secured negative talk and word of mouth in the beginning but managed to establish big records at the end of their run demonstrating his box office pull even for negative talk films. And they also reminded how Vijay let these films talk instead of blaming audience or people for spreading negativity around his films and coming up with negative reviews.

They are also pointing out how Vijay never boasted about records or revenue even before or after the release of the film unlike the team of Kanguva which prepared for a possible 1000 crore grosser ahead of the release. Surely, Vijay stands as a perfect example of all these.

No issues between Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad

Tollywood Music Director, Devi Sri Prasad has been a long associate for Actor Allu Arjun and Director Sukumar for years. This trio also has a good fanbase among Tollywood fans and audience. Their recent collaboration, Pushpa too became a big chartbuster nationwide bringing it lot of fame. But there were reports recently that all is not well between Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad for which he was replaced by Thaman in Pushpa 2.

It was speculated that Allu Arjun became angry at Devi Sri Prasad for not taking care of the Backgound Music of Pushpa 2 and instead spending time for his concert. But subsequently, Thaman was brought in and he is also working for the film’s BGM now along with few more Music Directors.

But it seems that there are no issues at all between Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad with their pictures coming out on social media today. Both were seen posing together alongwith Sukumar and Chandrabose as well indicating that there is no issue.

It also needs to be seen what Thaman and other music directors work for in the film. Pushpa 2 is scheduled to release on 5th December worldwide this year and there are high expectations on the film nationwide as well.

Ram Gopal Varma gets no relief from court

Tollywood Director, Ram Gopal Varma has stuck in a controversy recently. The Director has been booked in a case for allegedly morphing the images of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu satirically few years ago. RGV acted immediately and appealed before the court to strike off the case but he got no relief from the court shockingly.

The court has rejected the appeal of Ram Gopal Varma to strike off the case and instead ordered him to apply for bail. So, this means that the case will be on against the Director and he has to deal with it. Meanwhile, AP Government, as per sources, is getting ready to investigate the Director by taking him into custody as well. This is definitely a shocking happening now regarding Tollywood.

We have to see how Ram Gopal Varma deals with this from now on. He may also have to attend frequently for interrogation of this case. And if the High Court rejects the bail, then he may even have to face trouble in the form of arrest just like Actress Kasthuri who is currently under remand for making derogatory comments against Telugu People.

The response to Suriya’s Kanguva has been quite disappointing for the makers and the collections have totally shocked many. Fans and trade circles had pinned high hopes on this fantasy action. Unfortunately, the film opened to poor reviews and unfavourable talk.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film was its slow pace and particularly in the first half. With this audience feedback Kanguva is now trimmed by 12 minutes and has been re-censored. The updated version is now 143 minutes long and now will play in cinemas.

While this is a positive change, it might be quite late now. The poor word of mouth has already spread and it would have been better had the makers taken this decision before release on weekend. Now with weekend getting over audiences are not showing any interest in coming to thetares for the film because of Kanguva.

This decision from Kanguva makers has indeed surprised many. The team took a lot of time for the release and there were several postponements and release delays. Despite this, there were issues with editing, sound mixing and VFX as well. What’s the use of correcting all these after the release? This is what the film lovers are questioning.

Producer Inflates Kanguva Numbers by 200%

0

Exaggerating box office collections has become a common practice in the film industry, but pushing these numbers beyond acceptable limits can harm credibility. While inflating figures by 10–20% is often overlooked, some producers have taken it to alarming levels, with recent examples crossing 40–50%. However, Kanguva producers have seemingly set a new benchmark by exaggerating figures by up to 200%, sparking widespread criticism.

Kanguva grossed approximately ₹80 crore during its opening 4 days weekend. Shockingly, the producers claimed ₹128 crore for the first three days. Trade analysts and all box office portals reports the actual gross for three days in the range of ₹67 crore, exposing the massive inflation in reported earnings. As of now, the weekend box office poster hasn’t been released, but it is expected to display figures that significantly surpass reality by double of times.

The Kanguva team had overhyped the film prior to its release, Following its underwhelming performance, they have resorted to inflating numbers to create the illusion of success. Critics argue that this approach only deepens the disconnect between filmmakers and audiences. Instead of addressing audience feedback, the team appears to be in denial, further alienating viewers.

Actor Jyotika recently criticized negative reviews for Kanguva, but the film’s poor word-of-mouth (WOM) suggests otherwise. Audiences have expressed clear dissatisfaction with the content, and no amount of inflated publicity can mask the reality of its box office fate. Filmmakers must prioritize authentic engagement with audiences over artificial hype to ensure long-term trust and success.
