టాలీవుడ్ సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు హీరోగా ప్రస్తుతం దిగ్గజ దర్శకుడు ఎస్ ఎస్ రాజమౌళి దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కుతున్న పాన్ వరల్డ్ గ్లోబ్ ట్రాటింగ్ యాక్షన్ అడ్వెంచర్ సినిమా SSMB 29. ప్రియాంక చోప్రా, పృథ్వీరాజ్ సుకుమారన్ కీలక పాత్రలు పోషిస్తున్న ఈ సినిమాని శ్రీ దుర్గా ఆర్ట్స్ బ్యానర్ పై కేఎల్ నారాయణ నిర్మిస్తుండగా విజయేంద్ర ప్రసాద్ కథని అందిస్తున్నారు.

వాస్తవానికి సరిగ్గా ఇదే డేట్ కి 2022 లో ఎన్టీఆర్, చరణ్ ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్ సినిమా రిలీజ్ అయింది. అంటే 25 మార్చి 2027న SSMB 29 మూవీ రిలీజ్ అయితే అప్పటికి సరిగ్గా ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్ రిలీజ్ అయి ఐదేళ్లు పూర్తవుతుందన్నమాట. మరి రీలీజ్ అనంతరం SSMB 29 మూవీ ఏ స్థాయి విజయం అందుకుని ఎంతమేర ఆడియన్స్ ని ఫ్యాన్స్ ని మెప్పిస్తుందో చూడాలి.

ఇక ఈ సినిమాని జులై మూడో వారంలో గ్రాండ్ గా ఆడియన్స్ ముందుకు తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు మేకర్స్ సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నట్టు తెలుస్తుంది. ఒకవేళ అదే కనుక నిజమైతే ఇప్పటికే మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి హీరోగా మల్లిడి వశిష్ట దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కుతున్న సోషియో ఫాంటసీ మూవీ విశ్వంభర మూవీని జూలై 24 రిలీజ్ చేసేందుకు ఆ మూవీ టీమ్ ఫిక్స్ అయినట్టు తెలుస్తోంది.

All new releases – Jack, Jaat and Good Bad Ugly – headed to one OTT platform

Three films released yesterday from three film Industries. Interestingly, all three of these films have a Telugu connection. Three of these films were also sold to one OTT platform i.e., Netflix.

Firstly, Jack starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda is a straight Telugu film directed by Bhaskar. The film had generated considerable hype before its release, but the reviews were not particularly encouraging, and the film is heading towards a potential failure. The film will stream on Netflix in 4 weeks.

Jaat starring Sunny Deol released in Hindi directed by Tollywood Director, Gopichand Malineni. The film was also produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. The film received decent reviews and the team expects to score a hit there. Jaat will arrive on Netflix after 8 weeks.

Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith released in Tamil directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film is a maiden Tamil Production by Mythri Movie Makers in Kollywood. The film received stunning word of mouth and heading towards Ajith’s career highest grosser. Good Bad Ugly is expected to arrive on Netflix after 4 weeks.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences introduced a new Oscar category: Stunt Design Achievement. The 100th Oscars in 2028 will introduce this award for films from 2027. The best part is, the RRR movie has been featured in the Oscar announcement.

The Academy honored the moment by releasing a special poster that includes RRR, Mission: Impossible, and Everything Everywhere All At Once, recognizing the talent in their unforgettable action scenes. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Raviteja’s Mass Jathara, both the movies, are continuously involved in a clash with regard to the release date. Even after postponements, the release date clash continues for Mass Jathara – Vishwambhara.

Both movies were initially planned for a Sankranthi 2025 release. However, Vishwambhara was postponed due to VFX and shoot delays. On the other hand, Mass Jathara was also postponed due to Ravi Teja getting injured on set.

After Sankranthi, both movies aimed for a 9th May release, and both movies were postponed from May again due to delays in works. Now, even after double postponements, the release date clash continues for Raviteja’s Mass Jathara—Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara.

Both movies’ release dates have not been announced officially till now, but now both movies are planning for a July release. While Mass Jathara is planned for the 3rd week of July, Vishwambhara is planned for the 4th week of release. Even after continuous postponements, these movies are coming for a clash somehow.

Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi is a new Telugu film which hit the theaters today. Directed by Nitin-Bharath, the movie stars Pradeep Machiraju (who scored a hit as a hero with 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela) and Deepika Pilli in the main roles.

Story:

In Hyderabad, Krishna (Pradeep Machiraju), a civil engineer, upholds a strange principle: don’t help anyone. He goes to Bhairi Lanka village to build bathrooms, but villagers deny him access due to a strange rule: no outsider can interact with Raja (Deepika Pilli), the sole girl in the village, as every man wants to marry her. Krishna’s stay depends on his total avoidance of her. Fate brings Krishna and Raja together in love. Why is Raja the sole woman in the village? What explains the village’s odd traditions? How do the villagers respond to Krishna and Raja’s love? The rest of the film answers the questions

Performances:

Pradeep Machiraju gives a satisfactory performance. Deepika Pilli is also fine and her chemistry with Pradeep is good. With great comedic timing, Satya impresses, and Getup Srinu adds charm as the gullible villager. They consistently provide laughs in the first half. Actors such as Peekay and Vennela Kishore contribute well, with Brahmanandam and Brahmaji delivering laughs in minor roles.

Analysis:

The film’s story is straightforward, and directors Nitin and Bharath infused humor into the first half. The romance between the lead pair and villagers’ comedy connect nicely, offering entertainment. The interval bang grabs attention. But, the latter part doesn’t provide much entertainment, with comedy showing up only occasionally. The pace of the narrative slows, making scenes feel unnecessarily long. The climax fails to deliver strong emotions and feels rushed.

The film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi entertains in parts. Satya and Getup Srinu shine in the first half, but the second half suffers from uneven storytelling and a lackluster ending. The lead pair Pradeep Machiraju and Deepika did well.

Good Bad Ugly takes a record opening in Ajith’s films by crossing Vidaamuyarchi. Though the film did not receive big openings as per the expectations, it did well. Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly Day 1 Box Office Collections are out now.

Good Bad Ugly Day 1 Box Office: Ajith’s Biggest Opening

In Tamil Nadu, the film has an opening around 30 Cr, and the all-India gross is around 35 Cr. From overseas, the film has opened with 2 million, which is the biggest start for Ajith. With this, the total opening is around 52-53 Cr gross worldwide. Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly Day 1 box office collections cross 50 Cr at the worldwide box office.

Even though it is a record opening for Ajith, as said above, the initial expectations when the film’s teaser was released were bigger, and everyone expected an opening like around 70-80 Cr. But the promotional content only attracted fans, which resulted in the openings getting slightly less.

The film is expected to be Ajith’s biggest lifetime grosser as well. The film has completely satisfied the fans, but from neutral audiences, it received average WOM, and we need to wait and see how it shines at the box office for the weekend and full run.
