Nagarjuna’s 100th Film: Director finalized

Tollywood Actor Nagarjuna is currently busy with his films, Kubera and Coolie. He is playing a crucial role in both the films alongside Dhanush and Rajinikanth, respectively. He hasn’t started a solo film after his Naa Saami Ranga which released last year. It is learnt that he has finalized the Director for his next, which will also be his 100th Film.

This prestigious film will be helmed by a Tamil Director, Ra. Karthik, fame of Nitham Oru Vaanam released as Aakasam in Telugu. An official announcement regarding the film will also be made soon, revealing the details of the cast and crew. This news is now going viral on social media platforms.

This will indeed be a golden opportunity for the Director, and Nagarjuna also looks to score a blockbuster with his 100th Film. Kubera is set to release at the end of June, and Coolie will arrive on 14th August. So, the Actor will start shooting for the film soon, and it may hit the theatres next year.

Tollywood Actor Manchu Vishnu is currently working on his big-budgeted Kannappa. The film has an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prabhas. The film was initially planned for release for the end of April, but the team postponed it to 27th June as the VFX works were delayed.

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan saw multiple postponements due to the Actor’s political commitments. Now, as per sources, the team is preparing to release the film on 30th May, which coincides with the release date of Kingdom starring Vijay Deverakonda. The team of Hari Hara Veera Mallu must utilize the dates of Pawan Kalyan and make sure the shoot gets completed within a week.

The Producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A.M. Rathnam, must also start negotiations with the distributors who are learnt to have refused the quoted amount by him. This may take some more time, and there is also a buzz that the team is considering June for the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu if the pending works and financial negotiations aren’t finished early.

Now, this has become a danger for Kannappa, which has fixed June 27th as its release date. The team of Kannappa expects the film to become a big blockbuster, and, if a clash happens with Hari Hara Veera Mallu it may have to suffer. So, let’s wait and see.

ఆ విధంగా మలయాళం మూవీ హిస్టరీలో వరుసగా మొదటి పది రోజులు రూ. 5 కోట్ల మేర కలెక్షన్ దక్కించుకున్న మూవీగా పెద్ద రికార్డు నెలకొల్పింది. కేవలం కేరళలోనే రూ. 59 కోట్లు రాబట్టిన ఈ మోవి ఓవరాల్ గా వరల్డ్ వైడ్ క్లోసింగ్ లో రూ. 150 కోట్లు కలెక్షన్ అందుకునే అవకాశం కనపడుతోంది. మరోవైపు ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితిని చూస్తే, మొత్తంగా కేరళలో రూ. 100 కోట్లు అందుకునే మూవీగా కూడా ఇది సాగుతోంది.

Today, Thudarum will become the 1st ever in Mollywood history to mint 5 crores gross in 10 consecutive days in Kerala. It will establish the record of a double-digit gross worldwide for 10 consecutive days.

Thudarum is also all set to join the 150 crores gross worldwide by today. In Kerala, the film has collected 59 crores gross in just 9 days, and today it will breach the 65 crores mark. It is also set to become the 1st 100 crore grosser in Kerala alone in the upcoming weekends.

War 2 is one of the biggest Indian films this year. The collaboration of Bollywood’s big star Hrithik Roshan and South’s big star NTR made this film one of the most anticipated ones.  War 2 Telugu States negotiations are in full swing.

 As said above, the film garnered massive hype with the star-studded combination, and everyone expects this film to be the biggest grosser of this year, and there are also high chances for it to join the 1000 Cr club.

Normally, this spy series of films has worked only for North audiences till now, and South audiences have not connected well with this series of films. As NTR is now part of this, it creates a good anticipation, especially in Telugu.

The movie is releasing on 14th August with Rajinikanth’s Coolie in competition. The business talks begin in Telugu circles. Hrithik Roshan’s and NTR’s War 2 Telugu States negotiations are in full swing.

There has been a discussion for individual area rights along with the two Telugu States’ rights. As per early discussions, distributors are quoting at the 85 Cr range in Telugu States, Andhra [6 Territories], quoting at a 35 Cr ratio.

NTR’s Devara was sold for 120 Cr, including GST, and it made more than 150 Cr, but War 2 can not be compared with Devara as it is a different film and can not attract all audiences like Devara.

War 2 producers are expecting in the range of around 110 Cr, and the distributors are at 85 Cr. Now we need to see where the business will settle finally. But even if it closes at 90 Cr or 100 Cr, it is a very huge business for the film, because of the NTR factor.
