Tourist Family Now On OTT

Tourist Family, an emotional drama starring Sasi Kumar, was released in theaters along with Suriya’s Retro on May 1st and became a sensational blockbuster at the box office. The film has made its digital debut. Tourist Family is now on OTT.

As said above, the film registered a huge success in theaters, as it collected 85 Cr gross worldwide. Surprisingly, the film collected more than Retro in Tamil Nadu, which says how big a blockbuster it is.

Tourist Family Streaming on OTT – Jio Hotstar

Jio Hotstar acquired the digital rights of the film, and Sasi Kumar’s Tourist Family is now on OTT. The film is available for streaming on Jio Hotstar in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Suriya’s Retro and Nani’s HIT 3 were released in theaters on the same day, but the Abhishan Jeevinth directorial emerged as a successful film with the help of positive reviews from audiences and critics.

Akhanda 2 Teaser alert: Official release date locked

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam starring Balakrishna is the official sequel of blockbuster film, Akhanda, released in 2021. The film is currently under shoot, and the release date was initially announced to be on 25th September this year. But the team has decided to postpone the film to a later date to avoid a clash with OG starring Pawan Kalyan.

Fans and Audience have been waiting eagerly for the Teaser release of Akhanda 2. Now, it is learnt that the team may release it on the birthday of Balakrishna i.e., 10th June. The release date of the film will also be announced officially in the Teaser. As per sources, the team expects to release the film in the first week of December this year.

Akhanda also released in the first week of December 2021 and went on to become a big blockbuster. But, the Raja Saab starring Prabhas is currently scheduled for release in the same week of December. So, we need to see if The Raja Saab moves away to some other date next year to give way to Akhanda 2.

Not only that, but Rajendra Prasad also expressed his impatience with the audience in the House. When he mentioned that he had received the NTR award the previous day, when no one clapped, he asked, “Why don’t you clap?” He made some other objectionable remarks, “Have you all lost your brain?” and if you don’t clap, “it’s a shame.”

As the comments went viral on social media, netizens became furious with the veteran actor’s behavior. Being a senior actor, many are of the opinion that it is not right to use such language on a public platform.

HIT 3 and Retro were released in theaters on the same day at the box office on May 1. While Nani’s film emerged as a commercial success, Suriya’s Retro failed at the box office. Now, Nani’s HIT 3 beats Retro on Netflix as well.

The film had a decent start at the box office with around 3.5 Cr gross worldwide, including a few hires, and it was expected to take a big jump on the next day. But the film did not pick up the momentum and also showed 80%–90% hold of day 1.

The film collected gross around 6.25 Cr for two days. The trade is a bit worried as Bhairavam sees no growth on Day 2. This is definitely not enough for the film, as it has to collect at least 25 Cr gross theatrically.

Bhairavam needs to see a massive jump today for a decent weekend, and if today the film fails to pick up the momentum, then holding the momentum from tomorrow is also very tough.
