Tollywood Actor Nithiin is facing a dull phase currently. The Actor’s recent films have flopped at the box office, disappointing the Actor completely. He has put high hopes on his recent release, Robinhood, which also raised a lot of hype. However, it faltered and became a big failure. The Actor is now coming with his Thammudu, and the difference in his behaviour is quite visible.

Nithiin looked very confident about Robinhood and spoke highly about the film as well. He must have also understood to remain calm before the release of the film, which would lower the risk of high expectations. Likewise, in the Trailer launch event of Thammudu today, Nithiin said that he had spoken in a big way for Robinhood and will speak less now for his Thammudu.

Producer Dil Raju also revealed that Nithiin had been compromised on the remuneration and received only a nominal amount. He also stated that the remaining remuneration will only be taken by him after the film’s success. Thammudu is slated for release on 4th July.

Trivikram changes Thaman

Tollywood Director Trivikram started their collaboration with Aravindha Sametha in 2018 and continued their journey till their recent film, Guntur Kaaram. Thaman provided chartbuster songs and albums for all these films, proving to be a successful collaboration as well. But, Trivikram has decided to change Thaman and would replace him with other Music Directors.

Trivikram and NTR will be collaborating once again for their upcoming film, touted to be a mythological drama. The Director is contemplating bringing Anirudh Ravichander on board for this film. He collaborated with the Music Director for Agnyaathavaasi which was also his Telugu Debut. Anirudh’s inclusion will surely raise the hype to sky level.

Trivikram also has plans to collaborate with Venkatesh, and this may also skip Thaman as the Music Director. The Director is looking at other Music Directors. It should also be seen if he collaborates with Devi Sri Prasad whom he last collaborated for S/o Satyamurthy.

This film was originally planned with Allu Arjun, who is currently busy with his AA22XA6, directed by Atlee. As per sources, Allu Arjun is said to have informed Trivikram that he would take a call on this film only after finishing the Atlee directorial.

Trivikram seems to have taken no time in confirming this with NTR. Producer Naga Vamsi tweeted on his official X/Twitter handle about the genre of the film as well, which surprised the Netizens. The film will be set against the backdrop of Lord Subrahmanyeswara, as this tweet implied the connection with the deity.

However, this announcement surprised everyone since the Actor is very busy with his current commitments. He is working for NTRNeel and Devara 2, apart from finishing War 2 recently. He also lined up a film directed by Kollywood Director Nelson Dilipkumar. So, Trivikram’s film will go on floors only after the completion of all these films.

The Telugu cinema fans, especially the Hyderabad viewers, were thrilled when Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas announced a new IMAX screen is coming up at Hakimpet. However, the latest news is that the IMAX is not coming to Hyderabad anytime soon.

In Hyderabad, Prasads Multiplex stood out as a cherished venue for film fans. It featured the sole IMAX screen in the Telugu states, providing a unique movie experience. Its large screen and powerful sound created a spectacular experience for audiences.

After a few years, the contract between the theater and the IMAX group ended, much to the dismay of movie lovers. However, a spark of hope emerged recently, as Suniel Narang from Asian Group announced plans to reopen IMAX in Hakimpet in two years. 

So, naturally, the anticipation surged again in audiences as they thought the dream was about to become reality. However, Preetham Daniel, VP of IMAX, publicly refuted the claims and stated that IMAX is not coming to Hyderabad anytime soon.

He mentioned that there’s no agreement with Asian Cinemas, although IMAX is in discussions to return to Hyderabad with different parties. Fans feel confused and let down again by that statement.

Banger From Thammudu is impressive

Nithin, who faced a big failure with his recent release, Robinhood, is all set to strike gold with his upcoming release, Thammudu. The theatrical trailer of this action drama, named Banger from Thammudu, is impressive. 

Directed by Venu Sriram, the trailer strikes the chord and provides the required intrigue. Set in Ambaragodugu village, the film’s plot is about villains who restrict the residents’ movement out of that place.

Laya plays Nithiin’s sister, and we can see that they have some differences between them. The dialogues suggest that Nithiin, a professional archer, will face all the odds to protect the villagers and save his sister’s pride.

Story:

Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee) stands outside a train station late at night, waiting for his younger brother Raman (Shubham Vardhan) to get off a delayed train. At that moment, a baby is taken from beside a sleeping woman. The woman and the police suspect Raman, leaving the two brothers with no choice but to comply with the legal process.

The rest of the story follows how Gautam and Raman assist that woman and the challenges they encounter in their bold effort.

Performances:

Abhishek Banerjee (Stree-2 and Patal Lok Fame) gives a perfect performance, while Shubham Vardhan also comes across as natural as he could have. Mia Maelzer gives an intense performance as a mother who fights for her lost child. Harish Khanna and others are fine.

Analysis:

‘Stolen’ is a film that tries to captivate you right from the opening scene and keeps you engaged until the final moment, except for a few lapses here and there. Lasting just over 90 minutes, it is a clear, suspenseful, and emotional journey with some upsetting parts.

Inspired by a true event, the narrative takes place over a violent night—where everything that could possibly go wrong does—yet it concludes on a surprisingly optimistic note.

However, some elements become repetitive. The sequences featuring villagers attacking the brothers begin to feel excessive—they lose their impact after a point
