Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu 4 Days Worldwide Box-office Collections

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, after a good opening, saw a miserable drop on Day 2 and Day 3. From the second shows on Day 3 to the first shows on Day 4, the film registered decent numbers, but that’s not enough for it to achieve a decent recovery.

The breakeven target is over ₹120 Cr, but the film has managed to recover only around 52%, with a worldwide share of ₹63 Cr, including GST in Andhra and Nizam.

Overall, it was a very poor weekend for the film, and it is heading towards a major loss venture. For the producer to recover, the film needs to generate huge overflows, but with breakeven itself not achieved for the buyers, it has added immense burden on the producer.

Ronth Movie Review: An Honest and Impactful Cop Drama

0

Movie: Ronth
Rating: 3/5
Cast: Dileesh Pothan, Roshan Mathew, and others
Director: Shahi Kabir
Streaming On: Jio Hotstar

Ronth is the recent Malayalam movie that received good critical acclaim upon its release. Directed by Nayattu and Officer on Duty fame Shahi Kabir, the film has arrived on OTT and let us find out how good this film has been shaped up in our review.

Story:

The movie shows what happens during one night shift of patrolling and highlights the cases faced by two police officers. The main crux of the film is a problem that the police officers thought was solved comes back with disturbing results.

Performances:

Dileesh Pothan shows his experience as an actor and excels as the senior police officer. Roshan Mathew also perfectly fits the role and gives a natural performance. His expressions and body language during tense moments are commendable. Sudhi Koppa, Krisha Kurup, and others are apt.

Analysis:

Directed by Shahi Kabir, Ronth is a collection of multiple incidents in one patroling night of two officers, CPO Dinnathan, a newcomer, and GSI Yohannan, a clever officer. Throughout the various events they face during the night, the experienced cop teaches the younger and more idealistic constable the ropes while also advising him to temper his enthusiasm.

As they learn more about each other, their views shift until a case challenges everything they believe about one another. The way each incident shows how trivial and difficult situations do the police officers face is impressive. The viewer travels with them, laughs with them and feels for their tough job.

Yes, like many Malayalam movies, the pace is slow, and the narration takes its time to get to the main point.

Also, the ending may not deliver the impact the director anticipated. The tension escalates around the pre-climax, but the resolution comes too quickly. One wishes that the fate of one of the lead characters could have been different, or Shahi Kabir missed an opportunity to depict it with the right intensity.

Positives:

  • Main Plot
  • Performances of Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew
  • Authentic Portrayal of Patrolling and Other Proceedings
  • Few Effective Dialogues/Scenes

Negatives:

  • Slow/Dull Moments in a Few Places
  • Rushed Feel at the Climax

Ronth Movie Review and Verdict:

Ronth is a hard-hitting cop drama with an intriguing backdrop. Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew’s performances, crucial dialogues, and tense moments work well for the film, while the slow moments at a few places and a slightly underwhelming climax do not work for the film. It is a good option for serious movie lovers on OTT.

Mahavatar Narsimha Movie Review: An Impactful Animated – Devotional Saga

0

Movie Name: Mahavatar Narsimha
Rating: 3/5
Director
: Ashwin Kumar
Produced By:
Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, Chaitanya Desai
Release Date: 25th July 2025

Mahavatar Narsimha is the steppingstone of Hombale Films’ Mahavatar Cinmatic Universe. The film released in theatres on 25, July 2025 Pan-India Wide and started to dominate box office with each passing day. Let us see what special this animation movie has in store for the audiences in our review.

Story:

The tale follows the beginnings of the demon brothers, Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu, who are born to Diti, one of sage Kashyapa’s wives. She seeks to unite with him at an unlucky time, disregarding his warnings.

Under the guidance of Shukracharya, the brothers defy the cosmic order and fight against the gods. Vishnu’s Varaha avatar ultimately defeats Hiranyaksha. Hiranyakashipu, having gained a strong boon from Brahma, becomes almost unbeatable.

However, in an unexpected turn, his son, Prahlada, becomes a devoted follower of Vishnu. This conflict between father and son leads to the rise of Vishnu’s Narasimha avatar, which is half man and half lion and one of his most formidable forms. This story is well-known among those familiar with Hindu mythology and has been depicted in various films.

Analysis:

Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavatar Narsimha attempts to offer viewers an exciting journey filled with humor, adventure, divinity, and inspiration. The intent is evident from the first scene, and it is reflected in many scenes of the movie.

Certain episodes, such as the one where Prahlad is rescued from furious elephants, are enjoyable. The Varaha Avatar episode at the interval is also effective.

The final 30 minutes are thrilling, featuring a fast pace and impressive computer graphics that come together for an exciting and fulfilling conclusion, where Lord Vishnu’s avatar Narasimha, who is part lion and part human, shows up and begins to dismantle Hiranyakashipu.

Yes, there are some song sequences and the expressions of animated characters with little screen time might look unconvincing. Also, the emotional weightage of the film is on and off, with a few scenes working well and a few not getting the intended impact.

Nevertheless, the effect with which Prahlada’s unmatched devotion to Lord Narayana/Vishnu and God’s unwavering love for his followers is shown compensates for those shortcomings.

Positives:

  • Animation/VFX Work
  • Varaha Avatar Sequence
  • Crucial Dialogues/Scenes
  • Climax Episode Of Lord Narasimha Avatar

Negatives:

  • Key Emotional Scenes Could Have Been Better
  • A Few Scenes With Underwhelming Graphics

Mahavatar Narsimha Movie Review and Verdict:

Mahavatar Narsimha is an honest attempt from director Ashwin Kumar and Hombale Films. Though the emotional impact of the film is swinging, its meaningful message is delivered without excess, and while keeping the audience engaged, making it a worthwhile watch.

Will Kingdom Break HIT 3’s Day 1 Record?

0

Fans await the theatrical release of Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which is just three days away. The film’s bookings have started on a good note overseas and in India. The trade waits to see whether Kingdom will break HIT 3’s Day 1 record or not.

Nani had a sensational opening with his last release, HIT 3. His brand in audiences, holiday advantage, and franchise craze—everything helped for the film to see the biggest opening ever for a Tier-2 star’s film with close to 40 Cr gross worldwide.

When it comes to Tier-2 star competition, the main two stars always in the race are Nani and Vijay Devarakonda. Now Vijay Deverakonda’s new film’s release sparks an interesting box office competition.

The film will arrive in theaters this Thursday, and there is anticipation in audiences and trade as to whether Kingdom will break HIT 3’s Day 1 record.

Before the trailer’s release, everyone expected it would be a tough task for the Geetha Govindam actor. But after the Kingdom’s trailer release and seeing the initial advance booking trend, the film seems to have a chance to beat HIT: The Third Case’s opening if WOM opens positive.

War 2 vs Coolie: Telugu Fans Spark Language Debate in a Dubbed Film Battle

0

Undoubtedly, the mega clash of the year is War 2 vs. Coolie, which falls on 14th of August. The competition between NTR-Hrithik Roshan and Rajinikanth excites everyone. However, the War 2 vs. Coolie clash sparks a language debate.

Suddenly, in the past 2-3 days, a few sections of people/netizens have started bringing language barriers into film discussions. Some Telugu movie fans allege that the Tamil people will not watch all our films, so we need not prefer to watch Coolie when War 2 is getting released in competition.

But the reality is Telugu audiences not only welcome Tamil movies, but they even watch good films from Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi as well. That is the reason people across all industries say Telugu audiences are the best audiences.

The Tamil audiences are always choosy about other languages films, but that does not mean they completely ban or do not watch Telugu films.

SS Rajamouli’s films like Eega, Baahubali, and RRR did extremely well in Tamil Nadu, while Pushpa and Kalki also did well.

Realistically, if Coolie is a dubbed film, then definitely War 2 is also a dubbed film as a straight Bollywood film and a part of the YRF Spy Universe. Telugu big star NTR stars in the sequel of War, and likewise, Coolie had Telugu star Nagarjuna in a crucial role.

So, Telugu audiences bringing language war in the time of War 2 vs. Coolie clash is unnecessary.

For the buyers and theatre owners, both films need to deliver success, which is much needed for Tollywood. Creating these kinds of barriers and spreading some kind of negativity on any film is unnecessary, and it can even harm the entire industry.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu First Weekend Box Office Report

0

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu started with record numbers with its paid premieres, and despite negative WOM, the film saw a good opening with a 70 Cr gross worldwide start. However, Veera Mallu’s box office journey did not continue as expected.

From the Day 2 noon shows to the Day 3 evening shows, the film had a miserable drop in collections. Of course, from Day 3’s second shows to Day 4’s first shows, this periodic action movie saw very good growth and posted good occupancies.

But again, the second show on day 4 had a big drop in numbers, which sums up Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s box office performance at the first weekend.

Overall the film had a disappointing 1st weekend with close to 105 Cr gross collection. With the breakeven figure at 200 Cr, HHVM has been able to recover just 50% of the business.

Lately, the makers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu released a trimmed version in all theaters, which is getting some better WOM. Everyone feels that if the same version had been released at first, the film could have gotten at least average WOM.

Now, we need to see how this updated version will help HHVM at the box office, and today’s hold will decide the film’s fate at the box office.

Mahavatar Narsimha Stuns the Trade with Massive Day 3 Growth

0

Mahavtar Narsimha, the first film of Hombale Films’ Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, released in theaters this Friday and emerged as an unexpected hit. Mahavatar Narsimha stuns the trade with a massive growth on Day 3.

As it was made as an animation movie, it was released with no expectations, but due to a big positive WOM, the film sees a massive jump with each show.

Mahavatar Narsimha: An Unexpected Blockbuster at the Box Office

On Sunday the movie registered house-full occupancies everywhere and carried massive demand for extra shows. The trade is in shock with Mahavatar Narsimha’s massive growth on day 3.

In Hindi, Saiyaara is doing very well, and in Telugu, the biggie Hari Hara Veera Mallu was released at the same time. Despite such competition, the animated/devotional film Mahavatar Narsimha finds a massive number of audiences on Sunday and posts a double-digit gross in India.

On its 1st weekend, the film collected more than 20 Cr gross in India, and at this trend, it is expected to join the 100 Cr club as well.

These Scenes Were Removed from Hari Hara Veera Mallu

0

Telugu cinema fans and PSPK fans faced a big disappointment as Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu received a lukewarm response upon its release. Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s team has removed a few scenes.

The film got unanimous negative reviews from critics and audiences, but a few scenes were heavily criticized by audiences, including fans. After listening to the feedback, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s team trimmed a few scenes, and now an updated version of the film is playing in theaters.

A Few Scenes Were Removed From Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu After Public Feedback

The horse shots in the film received heavy backlash for the poor VFX, and they have been removed by the makers.

Also, before the climax part, there is a Toofan episode in the film, which has been removed entirely. The arrows scene and the temple flag scene in the flashback have also been trimmed by the team.

However, all these efforts are futile now, as the film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has almost ended its theatrical run as the chances of it recovering at the box office are very less.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Maintains Good Audience Ratings on BookMyShow

0

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu released in theaters this Thursday, and except for day 1, the film has put up a disappointing performance at the box office. However, Hari Hara Veera Mallu maintains good audience ratings on BookMyShow.

Released on July 24, HHVM opened with unanimous negative reviews from critics, and the WOM is also poor, which is clearly reflected in Day 2 and Day 3 collections. With a holiday advantage, today the film sees better collections, but that is not enough for it.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu had a poor weekend at the Box Office

Overall, the first weekend is poor for the movie’s budget and pre-business. However, surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu maintains good audience ratings on BookMyShow.

Negative Reviews and WOM did not affect the BookMyShow Ratings for Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Normally, if a film opens with unanimous negative WOM and reviews, the verdict reflects the same on the BookMyShow app’s user rating, which has been the case with many failed films, as they got 5, 6, or 7 ratings on the popular ticketing app.

But even after the first weekend, Veera Mallu’s BookMyShow user rating is 8.3, which is definitely a helpful factor for the film’s collections.
