Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the long pending film from Pawan Kalyan produced by AM Rathnam, has faced many obstacles in shooting time itself. Though the political commitments of the actor, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh were said to be the reason for the delay in the filming, one cannot help but ask What’s stopping Pawan Kalyan from taking part in Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s shoot.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: The Most Delayed Film in Pawan Kalyan’s Career

The film was started many years back and goes over budget.  The director was changed because of the continuous breaks in shooting and the film also got split into two parts The 1st part sees many postponements in release dates. Finally, it was announced to be released on 28 March 2025.

Recently, the team started promotions and released the first single, and the second single will also be released next week. The makers of HHVm announced the second single on Valentine’s Day with a poster. The post-production works are also said to be in progress, and the unit is also completing as per the release schedule.

Producer AM Rathnam in a difficult position

The only hurdle for the team is that Pawan Kalyan not giving the dates to complete a quick and final schedule, The team is still waiting for the Pawan Kalyan dates but he continuously refuses to allot the dates for the film’s shooting.

Even for OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh also the Actor and Politician is not giving the dates. For Hari Hara Veera Mallu, PSPK needs to give dates very soon to release the film as per plan but he is focusing on political activities and putting the movies on hold. Not only other neutral audiences, but his fans are also disappointed with this and they ask What’s stopping Pawan Kalyan from taking part in Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s shoot.

AM Rathnam, the producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, faced many obstacles and put crores in risk. Maybe the team failed to use Pawan’s dates in allocated time but at least keeping the producer’s situation in his mind, the Janasenani needs to provide the required dates and release the film as per plan.

SKN Criticized Vaishnavi Chaitanya?

Producer SKN’s comments last night at the Dragon (Return of the Dragon in Telugu) pre-release event led to a controversy. The director’s remarks are considered to be indirectly targeting Telugu actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya who worked with the producer in Baby The Movie. Though, the director did not take anyone’s name, everybody understood that SKN Criticized Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

SKN Takes a Dig at Vaishnavi Chaitanya?

Welcoming Kayadu Lohar, who acted opposite Pradeep Ranganathan in Dragon along with Anupama Parameshwaran, SKN said “We love girls who don’t know Telugu more than girls who know Telugu… Because we have experienced what would happen if we encourage Telugu girls.” As said above, with this, the netizens and movie fans got that SKN Criticized Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

The statement seems to be a direct trigger at Vaishnavi Chaitanya. As mentioned above, SKN was the producer of the Baby movie, directed by Sai Rajesh and starring Anand Devarakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya. The film was a huge blockbuster at the box office. There is a reason behind the comments of the producer.

After Baby’s blockbuster success, Sai Rajesh, and SKN announced another film with the same Cast and crew with a debut director. However, due to unknown reasons, the film was said to be shelved. Also, the same Hero and Heroine signed a movie with Sithara Entertainments, which is a sequel 90’s web series, and recently, its title glimpse was released.

Producers Announce: Thandel Crosses 100 Cr

Tollywood has witnessed another major box-office success with ‘Thandel’, a romantic action drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, the film has struck a chord with audiences, receiving widespread appreciation.
The makers officially announced today that ‘Thandel’ has surpassed the ₹100 crore gross mark globally, making it the fastest film in Naga Chaitanya’s career to achieve this milestone. With its strong theatrical run, the team is thrilled with the film’s performance. Produced by Bunny Vas and presented by Allu Aravind, the movie’s compelling narrative, combined with Devi Sri Prasad’s captivating soundtrack and background score, has further contributed to its success.

However, box-office tracking portals and analysts have reported a different scenario. According to Track Tollywood and other trade estimates, ‘Thandel’ has earned between ₹80 crore and ₹85 crore in its first 10 days. This discrepancy between the figures reported by the producers and independent trade sources is a common occurrence in the industry. While the production team claims the film has officially entered the ₹100 crore club, analysts suggest it will take a few more days to reach that mark.

Despite the conflicting numbers, ‘Thandel’ continues to enjoy a strong theatrical run, with minimal competition at the box office. Given its positive word-of-mouth and audience reception, the film is expected to maintain its momentum in the coming days, solidifying its position as a commercial success.

Telugu States Weekend Box Office: 14 February – 16 February

This 14th February, Valentine’s Day has seen the theaters get packed with crowds. The Valentine’s Day weekend has helped many theaters get as many as footfalls. Bollywood’s big film Chhaava, and small Telugu movies like Laila, and Brahma Anandam were released in theaters along with Ram Charan’s Orange Re-Release. Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel also used this opportunity to get good numbers. Let’s check the Telugu States Weekend Box Office status during 14 February – 16 February.

Thandel had a decent 2nd weekend at the theaters. It had a good Sunday, but the film did not see a huge jump as expected by the trade circles. Vishwak Sen’s Laila faced a disastrous 1st weekend, and it crashed on the opening day itself. The film even failed to register decent collections on Sunday and became an outright disaster.

Brahma Anandam had an okayish to decent 1st weekend, and especially it fetched good occupancy in Multiplex screens. Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhaava rocked in Telugu States despite being released in Hindi version only. Especially in Hyderabad city, the historical drama saw massive numbers and occupancies.

Ram Charan’s Orange Re-Release was a blockbuster, as the film registered many house full shows. Overall, Telugu States Weekend Box Office status during 14 February – 16 February was satisfactory for the theater owners.

Thani Oruvan Sequel Shelved?

Thani Oruvan is a Sensational Blockbuster in Tamil and it was remade as Dhruva in Telugu with Ram Charan as the lead with Surender Reddy directing it. The original combo, Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan) and Mohan Raja came together for the sequel Thani Oruvan 2. However, much to the dismay of Tamil Cinema fans, the Thani Oruvan Sequel has been shelved.

The Kollywood audiences were delighted when Thani Oruvan 2 was officially announced. But to go on sets, the team tried to lock a good OTT deal. However, it did not go well as the OTT market came down in recent years. Also, the budget of the film is said to be very huge whereas Jayam Ravi’s recent films did not work that big at the box office.

So, because of all these reasons, the film has been put on hold. This news will be a disappointing one for the Tamil audiences, but the Thani Oruvan Sequel has certainly been shelved.

Recently AGS Productions announced a lineup of their next films in the next 3 years during the promotions of their upcoming film, Dragon. But they did not mention Thani Oruvan 2 in the list. This indirectly states that the sequel plans have been shelved.

Regina’s Web Series Set to Stream on Jio Hotstar

Nadu Center is a teen sports drama that will be produced by Aqua Bulls Content. Kalaiyarasan, Regina Cassandra, Surya Sethupathi, Mime Gopi, and a bunch of fresh teen actors will be part of the series’ cast.
