The Raja Saab: 850 Days and Counting

In October 2022, a film under the Prabhas-Maruthi combination started shooting without any announcement. Everyone expected it would be a quick film, and its theatrical release was expected in 2023 itself. However, after a few days, the film developed into a big Pan-India film and faced continues delays.

Backed by People Media Factor, this horror comedy stars Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan playing the lead actresses, and Prabhas will appear in dual characters in the film. The March 2025 arrives now, and it means that the movie went on set 850 days back, and still, the team is yet to complete the shooting.

A lot of work is said to be still in balance, and the makers of Raja Saab have yet to announce the release date as well. This is definitely an unexpected delay. Normally. Suzhal: The Vortex Season 2 is one of the most awaited Web Series for the OTT Viewers. Craeated by Pushkar and Gayatri, the first installment was a huge success. Let’s check out whether the second season of Suzhal: The Vortex has met the expectations in our review.

Story:

Kaalipattanam police face a crisis as eight women from various towns confess to murdering lawyer Chellappa. Inspector Sakkarai has a strong connection to this murder case involving Nandini, who is in jail for killing her abuser. The rest of the story is how Sakkarai finds the killer with the help of Nandini.

Performances:

Aishwarya Rajesh gives a convincing performance though her character is sidelined for a while. Lal is excellent in a crucial role, and Kathir is superb too, along with Manjima Mohan. Gouri Kishan, Saravanan and others are good.

Analysis:

Suzhal Season 2 mirrors the first season, featuring a high-profile murder during a local festival. The concept is fascinating, with strong character development and conflicts. A notable festival scene unfolds at the end of the second episode, introducing additional suspects in Chellappa’s murder. The act alternates with the engaging Ashtakaalis’ parade during the festival. The overall plot regarding the murder lacked depth. Sakkarai and Inspector Moorthy struggle with the case, pursuing every clue they find. 

Still, one can feel that the investigation could have been more captivating. Not every suspect captivates the audience. But there is also some clever writing. Upon learning the suspects will be imprisoned, Sakkarai arranges for them to be placed with Nandini, who is assigned to extract information. This part is executed nicely, with the prison scenes handled properly despite some lengthy moments.

Suzhal: The Vortex Season 2 is an engaging thriller despite some issues. Though the middle episodes and a few characters are not that great, the main characters/performances and twists, along with a good climax, work correctly for the series.

After repeated postponements, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ was formally confirmed for a March 28 release date, which the team has constantly reaffirmed. Two songs were published as part of the promotion, and the creators promised that the entire shoot will be completed by February. However, as February comes to an end, Pawan Kalyan has yet to return to the sets, and nearly a week of filming is still pending.

Within the industry, there has been continuing suspicion that the movie will miss its scheduled release date. Allu Arjun-Trivikram Film Postponed

Even after more than a year since ‘Guntur Karam’ hit theaters, Trivirkam yet to commence shooting on his next project. While his film with Allu Arjun was officially announced, the project has faced delays due to ‘Pushpa 2’’s extended production schedule.

Recently, reports suggest that Allu Arjun is keen on collaborating with director Atlee for his upcoming film. However, discussions are still underway, primarily regarding the film’s budget. Negotiations are currently in progress, and if all goes well, the project will be produced by two leading production houses.

Meanwhile, speculation continues regarding Trivikram and Allu Arjun’s film. Chhaava Day 15 Box Office: Smashes Pushpa 2’s Record

Vicky Kaushal’s Chahava’s 3rd weekend starts on a record note after a sensational run in 2 weeks. This historical action drama is showing a huge consistency at the ticket windows. Chhaava Smashes Pushpa 2’s record at the box office on Day 15.

Till now, only two films have collected more than 10 Cr net in Hindi in India on 3rd Friday. Those two films are sequels and Tollywood films: One is Baahubali 2, and the Second one is Pushpa 2. Baahubali collected 10.2Cr range and Pushpa 2 collected around 10.5 Cr. Now, the early estimates of Chhaava for the 3rd Friday are in the range of 12 Cr, which is an all-time record by a good margin. 

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Smashes Pushpa 2’s record at the box office on Day 15, and it becomes the first Bollywood film to collect a double-digit net on 3rd Friday.

The weekend advance bookings for the Laxman Utekar directorial are also very promising, and it is expected to continue to set a record for this Saturday and Sunday as well. The film is also joining the 400 Cr India net club tomorrow, and it is a sensational feat for the film. The next target will be 500 Cr and even more milestones if it maintains a long run at the box office.

On 1st May, HIT 3 is getting released along with Suriya’s Retro at the box office. Retro’s rights have been bought by Sithara Entertainments. On 9th May, Dil Raju’s own production film Thammudu will also be released in theaters.
